Yes, he is. The production company of Rainbow Sweetheart is Taiwanese. The money is from the chinese Anhui TV, who has sole rights to Rainbow Sweetheart. Angie Chai is a very sucessful producer. She produced the Meteor Garden 1 and 2. She made the F4.

Looks like the supporting cast is also from China and it's shot in china, not taiwan. There is a pic of the chinese actor who plays the supporting role that Lee Jun Ki played in My Girl.

‘Summer’s Desire’ turns Peter Ho into a money making machine with an income of TWD200M. He appears in 11 ads for about 2M to 3M rmb (about TWD11M to TWD 13.73M) each, plus two movies for 3M rmb (TWD13.73M) total and the income from a label deal and producing a TV series.

Da S shines in her career and love life. With ‘Summer’s Desire’, five movies and 10 ads her income is estimated to be just over TWD100M. Joe Chen gobbles in RMB this year. The movie ’激浪青春’ with Huang Xiao Ming, two Chinese TV series ‘The Girl in Blue’ and ’星光燦爛豬九 妹’, five Chinese ads and 3 Taiwanese ads suck in TWD 80M.

Ady An makes about TWD 48M with three Chinese movies and three TV series. Cheryl Yan makes about TWD 40M with ‘In Love with the Female Anchor’, ‘Zhong Wu Yen’ and TV ads.

Taiwanese actress Chen Mei Feng makes over TWD40M with the 300 episode ‘Night Life’ and ads.

I'm gobsmacked that TV series production can make such a difference to Peter's earnings, and Summer's Desire wasn't even THAT good. I think it only went up to 1.55 ratings in Taiwan - making it a respectable hit, but not a fantastic hit. In Mainland, it did manage to get into Hunan and Zhejiang TV networks, but was it THAT well received?

Jimmy should do some producing then. Has he done so before?

Well, filming in public can save a lot of money for the extras. I guess they are used to people snapping pictures of them.

Keroro33 and I walked into a photo shooting session in both Vienna (Austria) and Segovia (Spain). The one in Vienna was for some sort of commercial with a caucasian girl.

Keroro33 said the photo shooting session in Segovia was a Taiwanese celebrity, but she didn't know her name. Both keroro33 and I took a lot of pictures of the Taiwanese celebrity. When I have a chance I will upload a picture of her and maybe you or someone else can help me identify who she is!

the url of the original weibo post is at the lower right corner. actually it's very simple to look for these pics. I just went to weibo t.sina.com.cn and searched for his name. It was quite a mob scene in the mall on 11/30. A large crowd gathered around when they were working. The pics were posted by onlookers who rushed to the scene from word of mouth. These are all non-fans and most of them said jimmy is not very tall but very good-looking, better than he looks on tv. he looks like 20something.

this escalator scene was re-shot 8 times because of the noise and the pressing crowd.
