No, I still miss some of his movies and series, eg. The Vampire Family, Boys Are Easy, Hua Yang Nian Hua, etc.

Jimmy does look sick in "The Love Winner", especially in the scene in his father's office. He looks much healthier in the racing pics that you just posted.

What is this thing about LYF's brother. He just wanted her to come home? It looks like he was trying to run her over with the van. And who are these bad guys who beat up Jimmy? Were they hired by the undercover cops?

Her brother wanted her to forget the past, and come home with him. She kept saying in her life whatever she loved, they left her. Therefore, she dared not love again.

Yes, those bad guys were sent by two undercovers. They wanted to trace Jimmy's father, so they tried to make friend with Jimmy, but he rejected. Therefore, they had to make the scene by rescuing Jimmy, so they became friends later.

LYF looks really young, like a child.

Jimmy set up racing team with his friends, so I am sure he is the boss.

I guess he owns those race cars and also gets from sponsors. Jimmy set up the car racing consultancy in Zhuhai, and he also has car dealership business.

I guess Jimmy hires the racers and team workers, otherwise who will race and work for his team

If I were you I would ask them send that last copy of Jimmy's cd/dvd. I am so mad at yesasia now. That's not the way to do business. They should have just sent the cd free of shipping charge to you ASAP considering that they have postponed the shipment thrice. I ordered my copy of Liao Zhai as a single item since it is enough for free shipping.

Well, i wrote to YesAsia about the situation and asked if it was possible for them to ship out the Jimmy F1ght cd separately and free of charge. They didn't exactly say no but basically that they're trying their best to find the Liao Zhai series so that everything can be shipped out at once. It kinda stinks since i ordered the Jimmy cd with the Liao Zhai series to avoid shipping charges. I had no idea it would take this long for the Liao Zhai series to lose its preorder status. If there was something else that i wanted to order, then maybe i can ask them to take the Jimmy cd off of the current order and transfer it over to a new order. I had actually debated whether or not to order the Condor Heroes Return 2006 series before all of this crap even happened. I was okay with watching the Liao Zhai series with English subtitles. But i've always watched all of these Chinese series, including the Andy Lau/Idy Chan Return of the Condor Heroes, dubbed into Viet that i'm hesistant. Any which way, i do think all of this is ridiculous. I should email them back and ask them how long they're going to keep delaying the shipment before giving in and just sending me the Jimmy cd free of charge? They're apparently quite stubborn with their free shipping policy.

I think I've watched almost all the Jimmy movies except Ang Yee and Lang. I found Grandpa's Love pretty good, though some parts I didn't understand. Like why did he decide to randomly go treat two girls to popcorn at the movie theatre? All in all, it's a good movie though. Shaolin Popeye was one of his more popular movies. It was pretty good too. Vivian Hsu was so young in that movie! Jimmy's character is kinda cute but kinda dorky/loserish at the same time. He does a pretty good job there. School Days is one of the movies I can watch again and again. Ruby looks super young in there... her teeth weren't fixed yet in that movie. It's a cute movie though. Typical storyline.. Jimmy looks really good in that movie. I like Takeshi's character in it too. I also really enjoyed Vampire Family. I don't really remember the entire storyline but I remember I thought it was pretty good. Athena Chu is in that one, I believe. I think Jimmy is a doctor in that movie? I remember him wearing glasses or something. What movies did you guys like?

I remember purposely going to the video store a long time ago just to find a Jimmy movie. And i came across the School Days movie with Ruby Lin and Takeshi Kaneshiro. I don't remember the movie but i don't think i liked it much. Maybe it's because i didn't like Ruby Lin's character or maybe i just didn't care for Ruby in general. And she's the person that Jimmy ends up with, right? I also thought Takeshi's character was pretty cool too. I remember he had a fitting look for his character/role.

yea, I think Pu Pu is cute in her own way. I agree with Ladycoco, at least she's young.

At least Pu Pu is more fitting for Jimmy in terms of her look/age as opposed to that lady in Boxing Hero. She just looked too much older than Jimmy. Maybe her character may have been more fitting if Jimmy looked like he did in Wolf since he looked older there than in Boxing Hero. That's if even. I still don't like her with Jimmy. They look quite incompatible.

I think you'd hafta be super pretty and cute and have a young face to fit Jimmy (like Li Xiaolu, Liu yifei, Echo, Vivian Hsu) or else the fans will totally freak.

Please include Gillian Chung, many fans love them in Monkey King. They were perfect match as well

In addition, i'd like to also nominate Theresa Lee Yi Hung to be added to the list of actresses who are cute with Jimmy. She's actually older than Jimmy by 4 years in real life but she has such a youthful face that you wouldn't even realize that she's that much older than him.

Theresa was really cute as Zhang Jing (aka Xiao La Jiao) in Jue Dai Shuang Jiao (the first Legendary Siblings). Her character always wore red and i thought her outfits were fitting for her since she's a Little Chili...always so feisty. But Jimmy's character, Xiao Yu Er, was pretty devious himself which made them pretty silly together. I heard they became pretty good friends while filming Legendary Siblings.

And as for the very last picture, she would apparently force Jimmy and others to go jogging with her almost every day after filming Legendary Siblings was done for the day. Since he was always tired from filming, Jimmy actually became afraid of running into Theresa and would try to hide from her.

oh yea.. Jimmy and Gillian are actually one of my favorite pairings. They're very cute together... did a lot of people in HK like them together too?

Btw, how is the Dicky Cheung Monkey King movie? I didn't get to watch it but there seems to be many HK stars in it! For those who have watched it, what did you think?

I mainly rented it for Nic Tse and Jimmy. But i don't think i ever was into the whole Journey Into the West series. I've seen other Monkey King versions along with Ne Zha-centered series but i don't know why i just couldn't get into the storylines. Anyway, i could only watch the beginning and then i stopped. I got to see Nic and i thought his character was pretty cool even though there was only one scene with him in it. And then i also saw the scenes where Gillian for falls for Jimmy but since that's not allowable they made her drink the memory-erasing potion. It was pretty sad to see her being forced to do that. And then after that, i just wasn't interested in watching it any more. My parents actually ended up watching the whole series.

Yeah, Dicky basically invited a lot of his friends to be in this series, including Jimmy. So hence, a lot of HK star cameos. It seemed like they had a lot of fun on set. I'm so envious.

I've never seen any of those movies. I never really watched any old Athena Chu movies. I think i've only seen her in the Legend of the Condor Heroes 1994 series. And maybe some other random movies in the late 90s. It sure would be interesting to watch Jimmy and Athena act as a couple. I can't really imagine it now since i think she looks older than Jimmy now but she was definitely really young-looking back in the day.

Boy Are Easy isn't too bad. It's quite funny with many popular stars at the time, I believe Lin Qin Xia, Maggie Chung and Ekin Cheng were all in it. Jimmy doesn't really have a big part in that movie though, it's mostly about his 3 sisters and them getting together with 3 other men. Jimmy just plays the little brother.

I still have Hua Yang Nian Hua (Feng Chen Wu Die) at home and it's unwatched! Wallace is also in it but for some reason, I can't get into the story... it just doesn't grab my attention and I don't think the female leads in it really match the two men. Maybe one day when I really have time I'll pop it in and watch it. Such a waste... an entire series unwatched!
