Does your version of TLBB have both Mandarin and Cantonese? I can't really tell if it is Jimmy's real voice or not? Does he use his real voice in his movies: My Heart Will Go on, The Love Winner? I have no luck finding Lang. I agree that his singing voice has improved a lot since his teenage days. It is more powerful now.

I heard that LYF went to college in the US. Don't know if she can find the time to film a series now.

my TLBB comes in both mandarin and chinese, yes. I should really watch all my movies/series again and take note of the ones with his real voice. You can compare by watching talk shows he's guest starred in. That's his real voice for sure. There are some on youtube.

I didn't know LYF is in college now. I heard she plans on going back to school but she is currently promoting her album in Japan and China. Either way, she's probably super busy so IF she DOES star in the series, that's a HUGE deal, eh?

It's actually true.. He was discovered at school in a play or something? I forget the details. I also heard that when he was helping do some commercial with a bunch of classmates one lady saw him and said he had one of those star faces.

I really liked Jimmy when he was younger and first started out too. Thought he was very cute. I think his best look was during Nan Ren Shi Hen hao pian de.. that's my opinion.. cuz he did have those panda bear eyes yet. I also like his look during the Qu Zhou Zhou time cuz he seemed refreshed. I wouldn't say he's cuter now (just my opinion) cuz sometimes I think he looks kinda tired and older (but who can blame the guy? He like does everything. haha)

But it's not all about looks, I like Jimmy cuz he's one of those sincere celebrities, never scandalous, never conceited, respects his family, chases his dreams and promotes positive things, etc... those celebs are hard to come by these days. He just seems like an all-around good guy.

and yes, love the voice.. so much stronger and projecting... he's gained tons of confidence in singing. It's funny cuz in one of the albums where he talks, he says it wasn't initially what he was getting into.

All of us who liked him from the beginning when he was just starting out all have thought that he's cute and his face just brightens the whole scene. His smile is just soo charming it's contagious. I guess after all these years and we seem to have never outgrew him, it goes to show that we like him for deeper reasons. Indeed Jimmy is a great guy.

Jimmy talked about his character in the coming series.

"I am now involved in this television series, where I act as a jewelry businessman’s second son, but yet my character also competes in F1 races too, so it is quite an interesting story. The filming will start in November.

We have obtained permission for leave from the filming team, as there is some racing expected at the beginning of the year, so we told the team in advance.

Roughly it will be in March next year, around March everyone should be able to see it.

My role was customized for me, this series will have such content, like retro-fitting cars. (My role) was a F1 racer, who later ended up in a rural area, but yet still maintained his hobby of retro-fitting cars… I look forward to this series."

He does look tired these days. He seems to be only racing now until filming starts so why is he so busy?

I just like his mature look than his boyish look back then when he was 17 (just my opinion).

I don't know where I read about LYF going to college, probably in my dreams. It will be great if they can get her to star in this new series with Jimmy. They make such a cute couple.

I am a new fan but growing at an amazing speed. Yes, I like the way he pursues his car-racing dream and get to where he is now.

His character in the new series sounds just like his life. I hope they have a good script. A bad script that drags is what kills a series. It just can't keep you interested for 40 episodes.

I hope it is a good script too, since they spent a long long time to finalize it.
Jimmy also mentioned a good script is very important.

The female lead could be Liu Yi Fei. He said long time ago that he invited her in his car racing series/movie.
I hope she can fulfill his wish. She flied from Japan to Beijing to lead in his MV, I hope this time they could work together again.

Okay. I started to watch the other stories in Liao Zhai last night. The first one has Hu Ge in the role as a scholar. I fell asleep half way thru the first episode. Please tell me that it is going to get better.

I actually really like the Xiao Qian story with Hu Ge and Yang Mi. I thought it was a really cute story. Maybe it's because i fell for Hu Ge's innocent scholar look. I think it gets better when Hu Ge and Yang Mi develop feelings for one another and then have to go through their escapades to be together. But i don't know. Maybe i'm biased because i think they look cute together. I never actually saw the movie version of it (A Chinese Ghost Story) with Leslie Cheung and Joey Wang though. So i'm not exactly sure how it compares to the movie version which i heard was really good.

Oh, i didn't know there were heavenly kings for Taiwan too. I see Takeshi Kaneshiro, Nicky Wu, and i think the other one is Alec Su in the pictures, right? Well, in addition to Jimmy, i'm also a fan of Takeshi Kaneshiro. Takeshi looks so anime to me, which i think is a cool feature.

So now that makes sense. All 4 of them were in the "Forever Friends" movie. I didn't realize they were all heavenly kings for Taiwan. Is there another movie where all 4 of them were together? And how is that "Forever Friends" movie, by the way?

Oh there defintely was the Four Heavenly Kings of Taiwan. They were more like the Little Heavenly Kings (as compared to The Heavenly Kings of HK). Anyway, I like Takeshi and Alec. I dare not say anything about Nicky.

Forever Friends is one of those films that lacks a good storyline. For entertainment purposes it was good enough. It sure made me laugh! You may want to watch it.

Those pictures of Jimmy in the track site are really good. He looks natural When someone is handsome, he's really handsome at all angles and at anytime!

I'm looking forward to watching his new series. Anyone knows about the cast and the director? Lately, he didn't have great movies. This TV series must be worth anticipating for.

A Chinese Ghose Story with Leslie Cheung is a classic. If you can find it give it a try. Joey Wang was so beautiful. The movie is fast-paced and captivating.
