I am just going to give a summary of this article that Relive posted. It was
written in 2004 when Jimmy went to HK to promote TLBB.
The reporter of course lamented how his
fame plummeted after he went into the army. The reporter asked him, "After 12
years of seeing the dark side of the industry you still always smile in front of the
press. Has it changed your optimistic character?" Jimmy replied, "Yes, it has made
me more optimistic. Ha ha ha."

Then he talked about his racing. Racing had become part of him. It took him into
an arena that other people could not comprehend. Racing is a race against your
oponents and time. He didn't like to dwell on the past. He liked the future and
the unknown. They could be the best. Accepting new challenges filled him with
hope.

He said that the best moment in his life is not when he was standing in front of
millions or accepting music awards. It was when he got first place in 5 races in
the 2001 Taiwan Super Car Race. He became the champion of the year. The
moment when he stood on the winner podium celebrating with champagne was
the most satisfying and fulfilling. He used his skills and hardwork to beat other
racers. It was something he couldn't achieve as an entertainer.

The reporter obviously didn't do her homework. "He has his own racing team, an
office in the most expensive rental district in Taiwan, and his own recording
studio. All these prove that filming series in China is very lucrative." Really! She
didn't say anything about his other businesses, his expensive sports cars, and
his IT companies that made him a very wealthy man.

Hi. Nice to see a new face here. The more I find out about him the more I admire him. He is really an outstanding person for what he has achieved in so many areas at the tender age of 32. He is not just a pretty face. He is a self-disciplined person. You don't hear about him getting into fights, getting drunk in bars, gambling, or getting involved with many women. He doesn't smoke or drink (of course only in moives). You don't even hear about him playing mahjong. His only bad habit is driving too fast. Even paparazzis can't find anything bad to say about him. You can't believe anyone could be so clean after these many years in the entertainment industry. Women fall all over him, but he respects woman and doesn't want any short-term relationships. His parents must have done something right. I am glad to translate his articles so more fans will get to know him. I look forward to his new series that he starts filming this month. Love his eyes and his smile. Love him in racing outfits.

Nice to "meet" you. I've been a long-time Jimmy fan myself. Though there was definitely a lapse because of school and all and then i've rediscovered SPCNET.
