Peter Ho

I've been watching his old series Butterfly Lovers with Dong Jie and I've started to like Peter Ho much more than before. I still think he has a really modern face though, so he's unsuitable for an ancient series. However, he is a really good looking guy haha. He looked so big standing next to Dong Jie, and that made her look super adorable haha. The other actors in the series were no smaller than 180 so he didn't look so big standing next to the males but he just completely towers over all of the female casts...like he usually does. The men in my family don't care too much for his face, but admit he's got FINE lookin' body ROFL!!! My mom thinks so too.

Peter's been growing on me though...he seems..hard not to like. There's something about his Liang Shan Bo that speaks of the actor's own straight forwardness, possibly. And he's got a great smile.

I am pleasantly surprised at the underwear pics in this thread. Perhaps, I should visit more often :P

and ByTmE, yeah. i really liked peter's portrayal of liang shanbo, although i wasnt at all a fan of the hair. but the way he portrayed shanbo made him so much more likeable. before, i never really liked shanbo as a character - he seemed too wimpy, just dying from heartbreak? but peter changed my whole view of the character from his portrayal. lol <3

I've been watching Fairy Tale of Paris and I'm surprise how well matched Peter Ho and Li Xiao Ran are. Sorry if I say something sacrilegious, but I think he matches better with Li Xiao Ran than Barbie Hsu. Even though Li Xiao Ran's not conventionally beautiful in photos, she just becomes 10000X more beautiful onscreen and her acting skills are first-class.

I'm not done with it. But I've been liking what I see. Li Xiao Ran is born in 1976 - 1 year younger than Peter. But Peter does have an ageless look. He can look great with much younger girls as well as women his age.

Li Xiao Ran does kind of have this serene mature look about her. I caught a few episodes of the Paris series...it was complicated in my opinion. I also thought whoever dressed Li Xiao Ran did a terrible job...wasn't she a designer? I can't recall specifically, I only remember vaguely not approving of her jeans. lol

Peter's face only looks to have matured some from his debut, but not anything drastic.

I hope to see Peter in a new TV series. He's been concentrating on movies since Summer's Bubble and Unbeatables. Somehow, I feel more of a connection to the characters in a Chinese TV series than in a movie.

I was originally searching for news on Xiao Song Jia, because I thought she looked beautiful with Wallace Chung in Ni Shui Han, but then I recognized Peter Ho in the clip and thought he was incredibly cute when he randomly made up some translation of Song Jia's Tibetan speech.
