Now that I'm posted most of the pics, it's time for some news! Hehe, as you may know ZWZ will be filming with Tsui Hark (the producer) the series SEven Swords of Mt Tian, where he is playing the villain/traitor, Chu Zhao Nan. He was originally offered the part of the main character Yang Yun Cong, but he liked the part of Chu ZHao Nan more, so that is the role he got. Wu Xue Bing has taken the role of Yang Yun Cong. Here's news/info about ZWZ's part in this series all of which was posted at wu-jing.org:

Zhao Wen Zhuo, is currently doing Four Rarities of the Royal Palace¡¶ÓùÇ°Ëı¦¡·in Beijing, filming scenes of Kangxi's incognito travel. He said, "This is a very humorous period drama where I am playing a monarch for the first time. Emperor Kangxi is quite adorable, not only is he jealous of his officials' wealth, but also their friendliness to his concubines."

Since last month, news has been circulating around concerning Zhao Wen Zhuo's participation in Seven Swords of Mt Tian ¡¶Æß½£ÏÂÌìɽ¡·. Zhao Wen Zhuo revealed that he had just signed the contract prior to this reporter's arrival. "It was Tsui Hark who brought me to the new heights in the showbiz. I was only an undergraduate at Beijing University of Sports back then. I got to know him on the set of Fong Sai Yuk, it's a pleasant surprise that this affinity carries on till today." According to Zhao Wen Zhuo, impartiality and evilness are the paramount traits of his character Chu Zhao Nan. (On the other hand, in the original novel, Chu Zhao Nan is a complete scoundrel.) He will play opposite Ada Choi at some instances. "This series will be shot in Xinjiang, as well as Snow Mountains of Xilin, Valley of Jade Peaks, Ancient City Langzhong in Sichuan. Hehe, I don't know much about his girlfriend, most of the information I read about her was from earlier in the forum. You know, the information about her also being a martial artist and the fact that she is playing his sister. She's either his sister in Miracle Healers or The Four Rarirites of the Royal Palace... Hehe, I should check into that. But I can't read Chinese... Can anyone here read chinese? Cause then I can post articles and we can learn more about ZWZ together!
Actually, ZWZ and his girlfriend has done a lto of recent series together... She never plays as the main actress but she usually has a role (mostly small) in the series. She's in Wu Mei Niang (the one with Alyssa), and she's in Miracle Healers(the new one with ALyssa), and also in this "Four Rarities" one...
Neither the "Four Rarities" or "Seven Swords of Mt Tian" is out yet... In fact the Four Rarities of the Royal Palace is still filming and will finish sometime at the end of this month or beginning of August. And Seven Swords of Mt Tian will begin filming next week! I'm really looking forward to the Seven Swords of Mt Tian! ZWZ playing a traitor seems so interresting! Plus, he'll have some what of a romance with the singer Edell, and hopefully Ada Choi!

He is so cute in there, and him and ALyssa make the cutest couple! It's too bad they can never be together... Such a sad ending.... I can't wait for Miracle Healers to come out! He's sent on a mission by the queen(I think) and then he meets Alyssa. Anyways, they fall in love, but there is another person who loves ZWZ and that's Gao Yuan Yuan. I have Wu Mei Niang, but never got to finishing watching it, lol. Will eventually one day though. I really do think that Vincent looks awsome in there!!!! Yet that isn't my fav. serie with him.

At first I wasn't looking forward to Miracle Healer for some reason, but now I am, lol. It does look pretty interesting. From the poster seems like all the ladies have quite "revealing" costumes yet Alyssa is all bundled up, hehe. She is cute though.

Wu Mei NIang isn't your favorite series of his? Wow! It was my favorite... but I don't think I've seen enough of his series to judge! Hehe, so what is your favorite series of his? Is it Hua Mulan? That was a great series... one of my favorites! But the romance wasn't as good as in Wu Mei Niang!
I think my translation was rotten, cause I know that summary has a lot more details than that. But I really can't read that much. ARe you chinese goddessofhonour?

As Seven Swords of Mt Tian TV series is about to begin production this Saturday at the foot of Mt Tian, Oriental View's President Ma Zhong Jun shed some light on the project. He said the first 36 episodes of Seven would be filmed first. Each episode is budgeted at 1 million yuan. Tsui Hark, Cheung Sing Yim, Cheung Chi Leung and Clarence Fok would work hand in hand on this work. Zhao Wen Zhuo, Sang Wei Lin, Ji Chun Hua, Wang Xue Bing, Qiao Zhen Yu, Wang Li Kun and Yu Cheng Hui will play the first Seven Swordmasters. Other cast members include Ada Choi, and Ray Lui. Liu Ye and Guo Jin An will play cameo roles.

The costumes and appearances of the main characters were personally painted by Tsui Hark, their personalities, their swordplay, their martial arts styles, their concealed weapons were all designed by him. The series will be divided into two main camera units, with four groups filming concurrently. Tsui Hark and Cheung Sing Yim will oversee the filming and render assistance. Nearly 200 crew members are involved.

As to the martial arts style of the series, Ma Zhong Jun said, "Actually, just by looking at the cast members alone, you might notice that most of the male leads are martial artists. So, it's quite evident what kind of martial arts choreography the series will have." Tsui Hark has assigned a martial arts director and swordplay coach to each camera unit, and has especially invited Yuen Clan and Jet Li's Stunt Team for this TV series. "Apart from the filming crew led by the two directors, we also have a martial arts team who will be responsible for the action sequences."

CCTV, which would only acquire the rights after viewing the whole work, has made an exception this time by pre-buying the rights for the premiere of the series in China. Seven Swords of Mt Tian is equally highly sought after by overseas broadcasters, not restricted to the Chinese-speaking markets alone.

Apart from TV series and movie hexalogy, whereby the first instalment will be shot in September, they're collaborating with Korea and Japan to develop an online game, a 40-volume comic series, cellphone game, brand name products, artiste management, a total of seven projects in all, all of which bear Tsui Hark's imprints, totalling 1 billion yuan (US$120 million) in investments from over 10 companies across the three countries. The first volume of the comics will be published in November 2004, the handphone game in February 2005, while closed beta testing for MMORPG begins next March, followed by open beta in July 2005. Press conference will be held on the evening of 7 August 2004 to mark the inauguration. Once filming begins, the set is off limits to reporters. Wow this is so exciting! Most of the seven masters are martial artists and all costumes and techniques were developed or planned out by Tsui Hark himself! This is going to be an amazing series, and I'm really looking forward to every bit of it!
