To Pucca,
It would be great to see Max, Vincent and ALyssa together in a new series. That can happen in the future.... Yea, Max doesn't look his age, which is a good thing... He is handsome so of course Catherine would like him. Not sure if he did reject her or not. I once read an article(but then not sure if it is 100% accurate) that said while he was filming this series that he was already with someone(not sure if it is Catherine though), so Kristy wasn't worried about rumours starting between them. Catherine was pregneant as well and her baby's surname was Mok which is Max's surname. However, we aren't sure if the baby is his though.
Drunken Kung Fu Master is my most favorite series of Max too. For Vincent, I like him in there and in Wind and Cloud the most. I hope they do have another great series like DKFM with Max, Vincent, Alyssa and other stars in there.
There are many parts in DKFM that make me cry. One of them was when their father died... Gosh, that was soooo sad....I thought Max did not love his father, but I think he did. Right when his father died, he became mad/sad and his hair turned all white... Vincent was so sad that he was no longer himself...Other parts are when Kristy rejected Max. I felt so sad to see that since Max loved her sooo much.... Another part was when Chu Gong Gong died. Even though he was really evil, I felt so sad at the part that he was dying. At least he felt remorseful and was finally able to rest when Kristy called him "father". There are many other touching scenes... I really liked this series even though my mom didn't. I admit that there were some draggy parts(like the parts with those kids and stuff), but overall I really liked the story. What about you???

yeah, all the scene u said ..i love them too. but the most parts i love it ..the love or relationship btw Max and Thuy Linh. i cry where Max kill his child ...well prison it ..i think (can't remeber it ) and the end .where that lil girl always follow Vincent... while fighting wit Max and Thuy Linh run in try save that lil girl and Max accident killed Thuy Linh. i'm so glad he finallly accept her as his wife( the part where she wear her wedding and he hug her ..so sad ) !! like get over wit that Kristy since she doesn't love him. AH ..OMGG okkieee that's it or else i'm goin type abt Max and that grl forever in vincent thread . ..hheehe i'm freakin inlove wit Max and that grl !!! and on other hand Vincent and Alyssa 4ever

His new show with Alyssia, Shen Yi Xia Lu is also co-star with his girlfriend (Zhang Dan Lu). She acts as his sister in this show.

Thanks for the cover for Book and Sword. Since it was a remake, I skipped it. I don't watch series just for the cast even though I do like Vincent a lot. I like some of the other stars in it as well. I already saw other versions of this story already. My brother saw some of it and didn't like it that much. However, that's his opinion.
Sure, I don't mind answering any questions about Drunken Kung Fu Master at all. I just saw it recently so it is still pretty fresh in my mind. I assume you are talking about Wan Xin/Van Tam played by Max. After he becomes a enunch(thai giam, yes I know Viet and Chinese too), he turns into a completely different person..... Yea, he does get back at CHu Gong Gong and injures him later on behind his back. Well, he never really found out about his childhood until later on since Chu Gong Gong forced others to lie to him about it.... After he finds out that he is truly the prince, he wants to get the throne back from his uncle. But Wen Tian(played by WZ) tells him not to or else there will be more war and the people will have to suffer even more. That's when the 2 brothers start to turn against each other. Anyway, about Max's character... After his evil god father died, he took over his position as the leader Dong Shuong(I don't think I spelled it right, sorry).
About Vincent and Kristy, yea they get together in the end... You want to know the details or see for yourself??? Kristy and Vincent are cute together too. You shouldn't restrict Vincent to pair up with Alyssa only.
ABout his new series, I don't think they are even out in Chinese yet so of course they aren't out in Viet for sure. You'll just have to wait. I can't wait to see them too.

I heard her name was LuLu. I didn't watch Shen Yi Xia Lu so I don't know her.

I remember i used to watch this series ..well only first tape...and at that time i really like Wang Yan (after watching HZGG2) ...and i really want her to pair up wit Vincent in this series ..but after seeing that main actress(Shui Ling ?? ...hmmm at that time i don't know her ...but now ..lol...she's also my favor actress too !! ) paring up wit Vincent...so i stop watching it.

Eh. It was an ok series. A little draggy at times. But Vincent was cute in there also. Besides Alyssa, he looks pretty good with Shui Ling. Didn't he do another series with her?

Oh! That's the one with Peter Ho. I kept thinking that Shui Ling was with Peter because they two both starred in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon the series. Thanks! I haven;t seen some of them.I only have the cover and will post it for you guys to see if I can find my disc. Thanks for posting the pix for the other series too. I have heard of that series but never saw it since I don't like those types of series.I would translate from Chinese, but the script is a little hard to read. Also, the Viet title may not be translated from Chinese word for word.

I understand how people can become overly obessessive about on screen couples, so it is ok. But there are some people that go completely overboard to the point that it is "Guo Fen".
No, I am not planning on seeing Shen Yi Xia Lu since I don't watch series just for the cast. ABout WMN, I will NOT see that at all. I have heard about the plot and all and honestly, I would hate that series very much.. You may ask why.. Well, the reason is I have already seen other series about WMN and my mom has read stories about it. I have heard they made WMN intp a sweet and weak women in this version. That is NOT true at all... WMN is a very evil and scheming person. She even killed her own child just to frame the queen!!! I can't tolerate series that are re-write history...
About DKFM, yea the 5th uncle is just pretending.... The plot has a lot of twists that make it really interesting... My mom didn't like this series but I did a lot, not just because of the casts but because of the story. I missed the part where Chu Gong GOng found out that Kristy is his daughter, but my mom told me... I was really surprised.... Ok, after Chu Gong GOng dies, Max/Van Tam becomes really evil.....But you know what makes me wonder? There was this scene at the end where he met with Vincent and asked him" What if the one that they rescued before was me and not you??" I wonder if Vincent and Max switched places, would he end up like Vincent and vice versa???Enjoy the series!!

guess what! i finishd tha series 'the Great Drunken Kung Fu Master' ! lol..wells..actually i finishd it a loong time ago, but i wsn't able to get on my computer for tha past 1 wk..2 wks..? so yaa i wouldv'e posted earlier heheh. soo lets seee..what do i have to say abt tha series? hMm..all i have to say really is it ws g0od? haha ohk ohk lets get serious..tha series ws veryy g0od in tha beginning& towards tha middle..[besides some of the boring parts due to vincent& kristy's relationship] but towards tha end? i didn't think it ws THAT good..i mean, evrything fits in the story well..but it W0ULD'VE been BETTER if they didn't rush soo much? lols,..idk if u guys got tha feeling but i def. did. but hey its ohk& i still liked it cs not all series are PERFECT right?? there could be some flaws here nd there soo yaa. nd vincent's lil sister got really annoying at the end nd really pissed me off..lol. felt soo bad for vincent& kristy though..they lost EVERY0NE around then whether if they were their friends, families or even aquaintances! ohk..so thats my incredibly short review on this series hehe.
