I'm not exactly sure which one made him famous, but his very first one was "Nothing To Declare", also about customs. After watching that one, Myolie wrote him a fan mail, and that's the only fan mail she's written. Think I mentioned that before.

Guess C was talking about "Food of Love" when he mentioned the role that made Hei famous.

sorry if i sound so negative, I'm just telling as it is. regardless, I'm still glad you all loved net deception.
Haha, that's the advantage I had! Never watched "DTO", so I didn't feel weird seeing them play siblings at all.

Come to think about it, Myolie seems too young for Hei. They should be better as siblings. Just my 2 cents though.

No need to say sorry! Like Cherrie said, if our opinions are all the same, it's boring. We need some lively discussions to revive the thread.

i had already forgotten what's her character in food of love. i just remember him as a cook. i bet he's lively there? but if i remember correctly, his character there actually did not strike me. that's why it's only recently that i became his fan.

if i remember right, nothing to declare got him noticed as he was more or less unknown before it. i think he was just a dj previously. food of love was a pleasant breakthru for him. but it was BF that solidified his status.

    Thanks, Hero! Nice pic.

I looked through the winners list. He didn't win anything. He was just a presenter, I guess.

Cherrie, if you like AMOC, Nothing to Declare should be fine. At least it never bored me to death, like a big part of AMOC did.

If you ask me, yes, because it's memorable to me. I dragged a buddy to see it with me, and he became a fan too. Our female friends were like, "Hey, why do you guys like him? He's not good-looking, and his eyes are sooo small." We just looked at them, implying "Hmm, coz we are not shallow, and we know the real gem when we see one." It's one of my fondest memories.

The leading lady is Halina Tam. She pairs up with Hei. The other female lead is Chen Miao Ying (can't remember her English name). She pairs up with Bobby Au Yeung.

    Right, that's her name. Thanks.

She was also in Hua Mu Lan (I don't know the English title) with Wong Hei. Have you seen that one?

It was a TVB production. Quite old, in 97 or 98.

Don't think Wong Hei has done any ATV stuff.

Sadly, I haven't watched it either, but those who have all say Wong Hei & Marianne are a hilarious pair.

yeah its the wacky stuff that tvb are known for. the comedy antics were the hit-and-miss kind. usually it was miss, imo.

but in there, wong hei showed his comedic talents and also his crying skills, watch the part when he was searching for his lost mom and relating to mariane about his sad family background.
    good stuff.

    Hi ya everyone!!!!!!

Cherrie, so you'v already watched and finished up AMOC? Lol, I was wondering about that a little while ago ^_^ Great to hear that you enjoyed the serie. Yes, the ending was really sad Poor Wong Hei!!! Did you ever get to watch the MTV of Wong Hei and Jessica that is supposed to be a continuation of AMOC? It makes it even sadder Poor Jessica in that!!!

I remember seeing a poster of Hua Mu Lan at the rental store. Never rented it though, but it does look quite amusing. I love Marianne Chan!!! Awsome actress ^_^ Oh, Helina Tam was the leading actress in there? I didn't recognize her at all in the poster!! Lol...actually dont' think I saw her at all
