hahaha, wonder what we're gonna do after the NHL season is over, close this thread and start one during the world cup or for the world cup, it's nice knowing both of you superkartemonkey and James Ko and others who talk less than the three of us, we practically dominate this thread, but ya you guys are like my best hockey pals ever. hahaha, and i hope Tb and CAl do good and move on and i want to see calgary bring it back to alberta, haha

why is it, is the leafs in big debt when wasting all that money. oh well, you can't buy a stanley cup, you gotta want it and fight for it, better luck next time.

dont be bitter james, at least the leafs beat the sens and advanced to the 2nd round. better luck next yr altho the leafs mite lose many players to retirement (roberts, neiuwendyke)
i think det is gonna fire lewis, 2 yrs of early exit isnt gonna cut it in hockeytown

Because the ticket is huge... they have a huge fan base... and their fans are willing to support their team. I think Leafs fanchise is one of the most money in North American... compare to other big three, Baseball, Basketball and Football (since I am not sure about the soccer league out there).

About retirement, I am not sure... I think all the Leafs now want to win one more... and I believe they believe they can do it. Since Quinn isn't fired I think most of the player will stay for one more season.

As for beating the sens... I really want them to beat Flyers... I just hate Flyers for some reason...

hey i hate the flyers too, they are just f@gs we all hate them and about the world championships in prague czech, canada wins gold again, this is the beginning of a very beautiful future for canadian hockey, with the world cup ready to show the true champions after the olympics, the flames running for the cup, this is gonna be good, and sweden once again second best or the biggest loser of all time, hahahaha, go red and white, go maple leafs, ya we are hockey nation

oh my could this be the cinderella team this year, they are on fire, taking every game one they were in except for the one with nuks, this is crazy if they keep this up they would grab the cup and every canadian but some edmontonians would be happy.

good game for conroy, yelle, and of course kiprusoff. iggy didnt do too much today, but all he have to do is fight somebody then he'll start playing good
i dont really hate the flyers, i just hate clarke, hes such an @$$!! i can never forget him for the roger neilson thing. dat was heartless.
as for the leafs retirement, even if all the current leafs return i dont think they have a good shot at the cup. they'll be dominant again during the regular season, but come PO time they always have lots of injury. + they'll be another yr older, and look at the final 4 this yr (cgy, sj, tb, phi) and last yr (nj, ott, ana, min) and the only "old" team is phi, which goes to show dat youth is a huge factor nowadays.

well i can't get tickets for the finals, cause those are just jacked up prices, oh well, and det and nj were both defending cup champions, but they were both taken out in the first round, is this some new curse, like the curse on detroit, being killed by underdogs, two years in a row, could this be another curse?

wow i can say tampa met a worthy opponent this time, and it's not gonna be easy to fight their way into the finals. is this the end to a nice story, well not yet, and i think the curse of the eastern conference has worked, over the past three yrs. no first place team in the east made it all the way to the cup finals and an update

oh my so lopsided in the beginning, and look at this, PHI 58 PIM, TB 72 PIM total of 130 PIM minutes that's one and a half games

and look at this 24 Penalties in the third, TB outshoot PHI 31-29 and PHI enjoyed 13:24 powerplay minutes while TB settled for 7:40 powerplay minutes, oh my so lopsided, hardly seen any of these in the PO

ya they found a hole alright and kept shooting at it then the bulin wall was replaced and still two more goals went in, so i'm not sure if they really fixed the hole or not, but i hope TB wins. and Cal wins the series with SJ.
