btw, whats the biggest hockey event u've ever been to?? like the world cup, stanley cup final, all star game, etc...
i've been to the all-star skill competition, canucks season home opener in '97 and 03 (yea yea i know its not dat big a deal) and the vancouver giants first ever regular season game. this list looks kinda sad, hopefully u guys can top dat

ps. i'll have to give props to lecavalier for fighting iggy, he really show me in this final dat hes more than just a point getter.

actually both lecavalier and Iggy impress me a lot during this playoff... they both show guts instead of your typical goal scorer pretty boys... even earlier series you see Mogliy laying hits on people.

I think that is why Sens didn't go so far... they should be more aggressive even their scorers... that is how you win I guess

maybe now the teams in the nhl is gonna change and go for agrrssive attackers like both TB and CAL and it will finally end the long and boring trap style, i hate those games they are so boring.

But calgary is losing 1-0 right now but kippy is keeping them alive, i hope calgary can bouce back and win it

ya Flames were just too aggressive... I am not sure if the players were pumped or what but a bad time to pick 2 penatly at the same time.

I wonder if Cherry prediciton is right.. the team that won last nite's team will win the Stanley cup.

That wouldn't won many Canadian fans hehe... but then again... Tampa has a lot of Canadians on it too.

damm that sux, i want a canadian team to win while i can see it, i wasn't really around during the 93 montreal cup and the edmonton dynasty. I still have faith in calgary i think they are going to grab the cup, they could win game 5 and 6 and take the cup like they did with detroit. But here is the disappointing update

I do like the Flames intensity but sometimes they over do it that result in bad plays.

I thought the official calls were okee this series so far anyways. Let the players play a heavy hitting game.

The only thing I don't like this year during the playoff is how players run over the goalie and blaming the defense of pushing them towards them when in fact they just get a little tap on the back.

that i really hate, you have to respect the goaltenders, they just about carry their whole team in the PO. and running into them is not right, and nimenin's hit on lecavalier was wrong

after last nights game between the flames and lightening a lot of people are questioning the ref's call. i didnt see the game last night missed it thats why i hoped for over time but i've been hearing a lot of talk that the ref's had to let Tampa win so that they can go to a game 7 and make more money in the play offs. i think thats sort of stupid but could be a possibility.

hmm good theory but I don't think that is the case.

I think the Referee get paid a season/s just like the hockey players don't get paid per game.

I think is just some Flames fan blowing some steam for the lost...

ya i hope so but the odds are against the flames, don cherry's predicitions been right so far, he said whoever wins game 4 will win the cup, unless don cherry is saying something bogus to give tampa a big ego and let calgary who worked against all odds to win, then ya i think don cherry is rooting for tampa. I think calgary should win and i really want to see a underdog canadian team win the stanley cup after a 11 yr. drought since the last candian stanely cup and i think the refs should of called some plays and shouldn't of called some, everybody makes mistakes, but it it's all against calgary, it wasn't that much i think, then i would think the refs were bribed

if cherry can predict so accurately he should quit the show and just but lots of lottery tix. seriously, nobody can predict what will happen in the future, hes just giving his 2 cents, and he mite be rite in the end, but it wont make me second guess calgary.
im really startin to hate nimenin, not only did he threw a dangerous hit on lecavalier (who i now have lots of respect for), but he cost the flames a chance to come back. hes like a jarkko ruutu from 2 yrs ago.
btw, the russian team is kinda disappointin, w/ chubarov and v bure makin the team?? and khvanov?? ack, not as good a team as i imagine. good goaltendings tho.

For me I want a canadian team... and I have high repect for the Flames toward the cup... but some of the playing style is very very questionable.

Why can't the Leafs make it this far... sign... O well I will still cheer for the Flames... becaues I AM CANADIAN

nimenin is a nice goal scorer, but one thing is that he should really keep his temper down, keep it calm and let it out when the game is over, don't do that kind of stuff, that is wrong, first cujo now lecavelier. and ya if don cherry can really predict stuff like that then he should really quit, but i respect him and i listen to him everytime, but i wished he never said that. and james, my coment about canadian teams same as you i want one to win and i also hoped the leafs went that far, but i guess they really are beat up and why didn't jacque martin go to edmonton i don't want macT any more he sux. plus I AM CANADIAN (is this liscenced by molson canadian?)

Nieminen is suspended from game 5! Lecavalier is fit to play game 5 and he is going too.

ok nieminen gets suspended for hitting from behind.. cory stillman hits from behind and doesnt get suspended.

i think it could be that Lecavalier act a bit after getting hit behind to look like he was hit hard... he also never put the strap on his helmet so the helmet flew off his head which looks like an hard hit.

Also another factor is that Lecavalier is a big name player (well more reconized then Stillmen). We see this in all professional sports... remember Peeler got suspended for throwing his elbow but Malone didn't for throwing a clothsline from hell.

Superstar get treated differently. This goes back to the 1993 series when The Great one, high stick Gilmour in the face but didn't get called and then went on to score the winning goal that put the Leafs best chance to the Stanley Cup.

i hate it when they do that, it's wrong, every player should be treated the same and i hate it when they act to get the ref on their side so they can get the other guy suspended. I really hate that it's really not right for ppl to do that and superstars to act. Something that is wrong with professional sport
