I didn't think Bolts play well just thought Flames didn't play well the 1st 2 period... but then stupid fraser and his stupid last min penatly... ruin the game... he always call stupid penatly or not call a penatly.

Is a sad game... I feel bad for all the flames fan
    Flame on I am gone...

I don't get all this anti-Fraser thing. He made a good call. A foul is a foul, no matter if it was commited during the 1st period or 1 minute left to the game. The biggest problem with the NHL these days is that most referees don't have the gutts to wistle in the 3rd period. As much as I want Calgary to win, I think Calgary fans are way too biased and are looking the games through Flames' tainted glass.

No, that call was not stupid. It was justified. Just because there's one minute left, it doesn't mean that players are allowed to commit any crime they want. No, the call was not stupid, it was Ference and his foul that were stupid.

I wanted the Flames to win just because it's a Canadian team but frankly other than Jarome Iginla, there's not much I like about the Flames, well maybe their combativity.

As a hockey fan who likes to watch skills and speed, the Lighting is a much more beautiful team. There are so many players that I like on the Lightning. I am especially happy for Brad Richards. For years, I've always said that this player is underrated. I am also a newly converted fan of Fedotenko. The Lightning fully deserves the Stanley Cup. It's too bad that it's an American team, but be happy for the 15 Canadian players who just won the Stanley Cup and will bring it home to Canada.

Now this is what I call sour grapes. Explain to me why you think Tampa Bay cheated. You sound exactly like the Slovaks when they whined that Canada cheated because they lost and couldn't admit their opponent's superiority. And why is Brad Richards a homo? First of all, are you homophobic? Second, don't forget that Richards is Canadian as much as you and he will represent you in a few months. As a Canadian, I am very happy that we Canadians have such a talented player representing us. Don't you realize that there are Canadians playing for the Lightning?!? It's funny that you bash Americans so easily but I bet that you like Leopold eh? The guy is American in case you didn't know. The real Team Canada will be playing in September. The Flames just represent a city, albait a Canadian city, but almost half the team are foreigners. The NHL is a pro league that only cares about money and the USA is where the money is. It has nothing to do with Iraq for crying out loud! What is wrong with you people? Please grow up and have some class.

Peter Nedved defected to Canada and played along side Paul Kariya at the Lillehammer Olympics. He was a great help for the Canadian team. It's too bad Canada lost the final in a shootout and Sweden clinch the Gold. Peter Forsberg made an amazing move against Hirsh.

You better stop this nonsense about this American politics in here. You are seeing American evilness everywhere and it's weird.

first of all, congrats to both the champs and the flames, both teams deserves lots of credits and respect for making it this far. all i can say is im happy as a hockey fan because we get to watch some entertaining hockey and the best team wins, so its probably best for hockey. its good to see teams w/ speed and skill get reward finally.
i agree w/ Canuck21 on a couple things. first, i know most ppl here are flame fans, but all these hating is unnecessary. trizz i hope ur kidding about wishing the death to the lightning players and the homo comment, cuz it wasnt very nice. second, i agree fraser had to made the call w/ 1 min left. dat was a very dangerous (not to mention illegal) hit and st louis couldve been seriously hurt, dat call HAD to be made. fraser didnt cost the flames the game/cup, the flames cost themselves the cup when they were out played in the first 2 period.

its hard to imagine how tough it is for the flames players rite now, but when i saw the gelinas interview after the game, he have tears in his eyes, and neminen, who can barely speak to the reporters. its really sad to see them like dat, kinda remind me of the '94 canucks team.
its also must be tough for the flames to think dat next season (whenever dat is) they have to start from scratch again, from game 1 through game 82, make the PO then win 16 more, dats a long long road back to get back to where they were last nite.

hey trizz, dont worry we'll have a canadian cup champ in the near future. if we learn anythin from the last 2 yrs is dat small budget teams and canadian teams can make it to the finals and compete. all u need is a hot goalie, 1 star player playin like a star, and some luck. so every team have a chance, even ya oilers.

ps. thx for ya updates throughout the PO, its been very helpful and much appreciated. hope u feel better about the lightning, cant imagine how angry u'll be if its the oilers dat lost to TB in the final instead of the flames!!

i think, i'm kind of thinking clearly now, so hats off the both team, first i want to congrats tampa because andreychuk (is he gonna retire) for winning his first stanley cup after a long, long time. them i like to congrats calgary for a amazing run a swell time when watching you guys play the game, you guys are gonna change the trap style of hockey and recreate it into fun, fun hockey to watch and play. and ya it was close, a pretty good run, you knocked off 3 division leaders but was probably drained out to knock off the last one and go kippy, you rock. and my final word is that wait for the world cup now

some flames players badly need to clean themselves up. montador looks like a pirate, he need a shave and a haircut, QUICK!!

i thought the hart trophy was based on regular season play and was already voted on b4 the PO?? so this PO run TB had shouldnt affect the outcome of the awards.
