whats your opinion on the charges? i mean, do u think the nhl should govern itself, or do u think the police have to step in for extreme acts?? dis Q is open to all poster here and i really hope to hear from as many ppl as possible, cuz talkin to my friends here in van, they are all 'nucks fans and they are all biased, so i wanna hear from other hockey fans.
i heard moore is gonna sue bert after bert is done w/ the police.
this is no doubt gonna leave a huge black mark on the game, not sumthing we need when we r tryin to draw more fans

i think in extreme cases like big team fights that should be consider as gang violence cause that's like 20 guys on the ice fighing and bertuzzi i think they should take down some charges, but still keep stuff on because when players play they get into this vibe and don't know what is happening around them and only want to score goals and get revenge

hey i think kevin lowe is stupid anyways, look at what he grabbed for us and look they are all useless, he grabbed adam oates, petr nedved and they didn't help us one bit, you know what we need a new gm and a new coach, MacT sux, he can't do anything, he has a pretty nice team, but he can't guide them the right way and that's why we lost every playoff series ever since

i thought nedved was a pretty good pickup. yea oilers need a complete overhual in management, hire queneville as coach, hes really good.

what we need is a total reform in management, get rid of those old oilers and put them into schools and teach them something about coaching and managing. They may look like an icon but they are useless, we need to hire someone who can work and who knows what he is doing

im betting if lowe and macT gets canned from the oilers, gretz will hire them to Pho, and when messier retire, he'll have a job there too. it'll be like a reunion for the '80s oilers in Pho

probably, i would rather have craig simpson coaching us than macT, oh ya and nedved is now a UFA (unrestriced Free Agent) which is gonna be a big lose for us, so i don't know, he may come back, we never know, cause his old linesmate, Dvorak is playing for us and they created lots of stuff when he came so he may stay but money is the most important thing right now. oh and guess what geoff sanderson is back with the jackets. He was great with the nuks, but i guess he don't wanna play with them anymore.

its not dat sanderson dont wanna play for us anymore, its dat we dont wanna keep sanderson at $3M per yr for the next 2 yrs. i dont think he played all dat good 4 us, specially in the PO where he completely disappeared. he wasnt a good linemate for the sedins cuz hes not very good at cycling the puck, and hes way too fast for the twins, so he didnt really have a spot on the team.

Ya lots of free agents out there... I wonder if that is because teams are worrying about what is going to happen next year that is why they didn't sign the players we see on the list.

guess what oils may drop nedved since he's asking for 5 mil and that's way too much for our low income team, and i think calgary got some dough right now from selling tickets and car flags, jerseys, shirts, merchandise and so on, watch calgary grab a couple guys

dont expect any 'big' signin anytime soon, as teams are tryin to commit as little money to players as possible, at least until the nhl and nhlpa hammer out a new deal. the only 2 teams dats are doing otherwise are the leafs (resigning belfore, roberts, neiwendyke) and red wings (offering contracts to shanahan, chelios, etc). but i think they kariyas and palffys name on the FA market for some time.
if nedved plays like he did after the trade, i think hes worth $5M, altho the oilers mite not be able to afford it.

Oilers cannot afford him, and ya lots of free agents are gonna be out there for a while before teams start signing them, and when they do we probably have lots of different players all over the place.
