wow, post #900 in this thread!! congrats to us
we saw how far those 'stacked' teams (det, col, phi, tor, nyr, dal) went the last couple of yrs, i think its more about team defense then anything these days. car, ana, and cgy dont have near the skill as those other teams, but they made it to the final base on great team D (and of course a super hot goalie). i think the domination of 'stacked' teams are over, at least for a little while.

im sure 99% of the players in the nhl have the will it takes, but consistency is really hard to come by, even for superstar players. when the stars are align, then your team will have all their players playing at the top of their game and u'll win the cup

well if most of the team of stars just don't care and have no ambition to win cause they all touched the cup b4 and they are just playing cause they want more money, then they are a big losing team who doesn't care

No idea, I assume maybe he already sign a contract might as well have him do something.

Maybe a different contract because he just sign one after last season and probably the folks at CBC knew that there might be a strike which would void the contract or something.

While Ron McLean has a different contract and probably get paid regardless of the hockey season so they got to have him doing something...
