Default Usage of names re wuxia genre

I recently posted two of my wuxia stories over at Winglin. All the fans clamored for me to use the actors/actresses' real name (mostly English names) in my stories. So far I stand firm on my decisions for I think that in order for the story to be effective, ancient names need to be kept. However, would it better as a writer to help readers understand the stories more?

    What do you guys think?

if you want the real essence of wuxia...you'll also have to take into consideration of the setting. So i think it would be best to use real "chinese" names.

what you could try is putting the English names in brackets beside the character names

Personally, I'd just make a separate list of the characters so readers can check when need to.

It's true that at the beginning, reading ancient names will be somewhat annoying for the readers. But after a while, they'll adjust, and then the ancient names will look more natural than English names.

    Have a CAST:

so and so playing as so and so.

if you check hte movie credits, im dead sure you dont have the real actors/actresses naem on the show, but reflected at the credits.
