Thanx for continuing translation, slow is ok, at least we have something to read...Originally Posted by WubblesHey all,
Both because I translate slowly, and also because my school work has been more laborious than usual, I was moving really slow on this. Half hoping maybe someone else would pick up the next chapter, but oh well....I guess it means my half chapter here is not in vain.
By the way, if anyone else has actually read or is reading The Legendary Siblings in Chinese, would you be able to give a suggestion/explanation?
This guy shows up in this chapter 25, in Chinese his name is 献果神君 ...but I couldn't translate it really... in the dictionary it was like... "offering...fruit..." But I couldn't think of how to include "fruit" in a name without it sounding...well...fruity. Does the name actually mean something else, and I'm just baffled by a literal translation? I think so...cuz' later I think Xiao Yu'er actually makes a joke about how "献果" is another name for "monkey".
Anyway, I've left the name as The Lord of Monkeys for now...if that sounds weird, I'd love to hear your suggestion.
