it's easier not to be wise
and measure these things by your brains
I sank into eden with you
alone in the church by and by
I'll read to you here, save your eyes
you'll need them, your boat is at sea
your anchor is up, you've been swept away
and the greatest of teachers won't hesitate
to leave you there, by yourself,

Yeah, Fist of Legend was great. I think Jet Li did a decent job playing the role made famous by Bruce Lee.

Great fight scenes between Jet and Billy. I wouldn't mind watching this again. Ada Choi's early role as a courtesan was also memorable.

Most of Jet Li's Chinese movies were pretty good, but my favorite is definitely Once Upon a Time in China.

As for Wong Fei Hung's Shadowless Kick, I believe that his father (Wong Kei Ying) also knew it. Apparently, it was a famous Wong family skill.

    FIST OF LEGEND deffinitely!!!

His role as Chen Zhen is just superb...and that fight with Mitsuko's uncle...*bravo!*

and the final fight with billy....dmned great.....love the way he snapped his shoulder back into place...COOL!!

the movie would be greater if i had the cd in the original language...but unfortunately i had it english dubbed *duh, its weird seeing Jet Li talking in english so fluently*

BUT IT IS STILL GREAT!! definitely the best movie Jet Li ever did!

Plus, none of his Hollywood movies are even close to good compared to his Hong Kong movies. Seriously i thot he shouldve stayed in Hong Kong....but hey, he had his reasons to leave......*heard it have something to do with Hong Kong production people*

but i really wished he would return and make the original asian action flick again.....

Of all of Jet's pre-Hollywood films, Fist of Legend is surely his best. Definitely a tactical masterpiece of Chinese Kungfu vs. Japanese Karate during the match with Matsuko's uncle. The last fight against Bill Chow was one of the longest fight sequences I've ever seen. A simply brilliant movie with a strong, if subtle theme.

Jet's Wong Fei Hong films would probably stand next as his greatest works. OUATIC 1 and 2 were awesome, with that ladder fight in 1 and the awesome rope fight in 2 against Donnie Yen.

His Hollywood works just became too.... Americanized. I enjoyed his oldskool look and feel, not this new-age Chinese ***-kicker, who says no more than 5 lines per film. My fav in this category was The One.

ZYM's Hero is definitely Jet's best modern movie. It showed that he can be much more than a kungfu, beat-em-up type of character when he is allowed to express himself in other ways.

Hopefully, Danny the Dog will be much better than Cradle 2 the Grave.

I just remembered about Kiss Of The Dragon... I enjoyed this movie too..although I still like pre-Hollywood Jet Li more.
