Don't you like man looking tan? I actually prefer him looking a bit more dark than pale. Healthier and more manly that way.
My complaint is his weight lost. Oppa needs to do something about it. I also think that he looks the skinniest now than ever, even "thinner than the He Was Cool era". His sexy chest and muscles were what we all love. He should not loose it.

Oppa, eat as much as raw meat and raw onion as you want. As long as you pump up that chest and biceps again, I don't mind whatever you eat.

Hallyu star SSH who was recently discharged from military service on the 15th, shared happy time with his Asian fans.

SSH opened his "SSH Asia Fan Meet 2006" on the 18th at Seoul's Olympics Park's stadium.

The show was dually hosted by comedian Shin Dong Yup and actress Han Eun Jeong, while SSH's best friend So Ji Seop made a surprise appearance and attended the event from a seat in the audience.

SSH said, "I've been waiting for this time to come for so long. It has been 2 full years with lots of anxieties and worries on my parts. It is hard to express my feelings in words, but I will never forget you and my sincere thanks to you."

When asked if the army life was strenuous, SSH answered, "If I say that it is not strenuous then I'd be telling a lie. However, frankly, I actually had more chance to do things there than compared to when I was still a civil. I hardly had a chance to watch movies in the past, in the army, I actually had some free time to watch myself in motion picture."

SSH confided that there were so many memorable moments and stories during his armed force life. However, it's difficult for him to tell all.

He revealed one story when a fellow soldier who is also his fan, came and said to him, "Private SSH, when taking the lead role in Autumn Tale in 2000, you said love to Eun-Seo. Now having seen yourself in the drama, do you think you said what you meant to say." Everyone burst out laughing. Recall, SHG was holding the role of Eun-Seo in Autumn Tale.

When talking about the short musical video Sad Love Song which SSH shot together with Kwon Sang Woo and Kim Hee Sun, SSH disclosed that, originally, he was really looking forward to this drama and wanted to perform his bests with his closed friends KSW and KHS. Regrettably, he was not able to because he had to join the army. He felt really sorry for the many inconveniences that the film crew had to incur thereafter.

He also added, "BTW, I never thought of myself as a handsome man. I only think that I happen to have a pair of eyebrows that are really dark."

In reply to many eager questions from Japanese fans, SSH said, "When I visit there this year, we'll talk again." His answer received loud cheers from the audience.

SSH continued with his next present to his fans by singing "Prayer", a song from the soundtrack of Autumn Tale. His singing was welcome with much love by his fans, and they requested for encore. After a bit of hesitation, SSH delivered without music another song from "Love Letter" of Yoo Jae Ha.

SSH promised that "As we part today, I will try hard to become a good figure and will not disappoint you."

On the other hand, with the recent public controversy over the exhibition of his army life, SSH's management company was ordered to cancel the showcase. Words of apology were also sent in related to this topic.

Fans nearby rose from their seats and flocked to the stage to shake hands with him. Then the curtain fell, marking the finale of SSH's reencounter for the first time after 2 years. He's back from army, but do we care?

KOREAN star Song Seung Hun has finally returned to showbiz after being discharged from the army, but to little fanfare here.

He was arguably the first kimchi hunk to make Singaporean hearts flutter in the hit melodrama Autumn In My Heart, shown here in 2001.

Yet the Hallyu community here is blase about Seung Hun's long-awaited comeback, unlike in Japan where a TV documentary was specially made to commemorate his return.

There, no less than 3,000 Japanese fans turned up at his Asia Fan Meeting held last weekend.

But when Singapore's Diners World Travel offered a tour package to Korea and a chance to meet him, no one signed up.

A Diners spokesman said there were some enquries but fans were deterred by the hefty price tag - US$1,300 ($2,000) for a three-day trip. However, a handful of fans did fly to Seoul on their own to see him.

Has Seung Hun's star fallen here? After all, the 30-year-old actor has been away for two years, during which other hotties like Rain and Lee Joon Ki have risen to take his place.

Apparently, many fans are still upset over Seung Hun's last-minute cancellation of a promotional trip here to plug his first Hong Kong movie, So Close, in 2002.

Said administrative officer Winnie Wong, 29: 'I feel upset he didn't come to Singapore. If he doesn't care about us, why should we bother with him?'

Once said to be a prima donna, he was pleasantly humble when he emerged from his army camp in Gangwando after his discharge last Wednesday.

To the 700-plus fans cheering for him despite the morning snow fall, he conveyed his most sincere gratitude, even choking with tears.

He also apologised for his 'hasty judgment and immature ways' when he tried to dodge national service two years ago, according to Yonhap News Agency.

Jolee, I also think that piece of news is cruel and represents only a single biased opinion from its author, not from a majority of SSH fans in Singapore.

The author of this article said it's because fans from Singapore still pissed off over SSH cancelation of his Singapore visit 4 yrs ago. PLEASE, it's probably only the author himself who holds crutches that long.

And he called SSH a prima donna? How could one be considered a prima donna if one is so humble????

Even though I'm not in Singapore, I can tell that SSH has a lots of supports from his fans in Singapore. Their TSH website is very up to date with fans praising him everyday.

I agree, 2 people from Singapore visiting him on his military discharge is not a significant number. But provide the trip price, I think it's significant. In fact, per reading the posts from TSH, just like us all here, everyone from TSH also want to be there for him, but budget and schedule are what they can't afford. However in order to pay regard to the public opinion against this exhibition because of misunderstanding, Seung Heon nim and Mnet decided to close earlier than scheduled. We are very sorry and sad to hear this decision.

All fans who visited the exhibition for 3 days were so moved by this special space prepared by our Seung Heon and full of his cares and love for his fans. All of us were happy to know that all of our support and cares for him were returned happily. We are really sorry to see our Seung Heon nim's pure intention was misunderstood by the public and he had to decide the early closing.

Therefore please all fans who visited the exhibition share your precious memories and feelings with other fans who couldn't have the chance.

Our Seung Heon nim and Mnet wanted us to convey their message that they are very sorry to close the exhibition earlier than they promised and would like to have your kind understanding.
