Angel Really appreciate your posting on SSH's official opinion! He sounds so understanding and seems so sensitive; he gave some great insights into the EOE issues! I feel so badly for Lee Da Hae who needed to bow out.

i only want LYH to end u with SSH because of what i saw in the drama only lol if HJH have more love scene with SSH i would bee rooting for HJH-SSH but i havent seen enough scene for them for me to root for them
yea i hear that LDH quit EOE it really sad but i guess she just not happy with the way the drama is going i guess

jimmylee78, your wish will most likely come true for Dong Chul (SSH) to end up with Young Ran (LYH) now that Hye Rin (LDH) is out of the picture. Yes, Young Ran has finally experienced 4 brushes with death to conquer LDC's love -- at Mike's funeral there was a shootout with YR's vehicle being chased. Previously when I mentioned the possibility of pairing up SSH & HJH, I was thinking more in terms of their personal lives. Sorry I didn't make it clear. Had read that HJH really liked SSH when the both of them were filming Summer Scent. I found her irritating in SS but I like her in EOE. HJH and boyfriend Lee Dong Gun are no longer together. In the last episode of EOE, I thought she did a great job as MC of Andre Kim's fashion show -- never realized she was so tall! I'm looking forward to seeing her as one of the Masters of Ceremony tomorrow night at the MBC Drama Awards. Hopefully I might be able to catch it on YouTube???

A question: Was that really South Korea's First Lady, Kim Yun-ok, who modeled during EOE Andre Kim's fashion show? She was very elegant!

Angel Yes, it was quite cold in Seattle even with layers of clothing--heavy jacket, vest, sweater, and 2 tops! Was able to visit the Seattle Asian Art Museum and the new Wing Luke Asian Museum. Of course, did a lot of shoppiing, including famous Pike Place Market. Enjoyed a Christmas concert by the combined choirs of Seattle University, as well as a visiting choir from Sweden that performed at the First Covenant Church near our hotel. Had clam chowder at least 4 times in the short 4-day trip. Forgot to visit Bruce Lee's grave site though.

May all the EOE cast members win the awards in which they have been nominated!!! I wonder how Lee Da Hae will do; she's a nominee for Female Popularity? I think that it's good that EOE is having a break this week. Oppa Seung Heon and the cast can get some much needed rest from the hectic pace of EOE schedule.

MC SDY, as if waiting for YH's reply, responded with humour "that's the way to get close", audience laughed.

Oppa Seung Heon attending Director Yoon Suk Ho's wedding last Friday, Jan. 9. I like the way SSH always takes time out to greet his fans with that great smile of his! Do I see tears of joy for the groom? YSH did cast Oppa in 2 of the 4 seasons dramas (Winter Sonata, Autumn Tale, Summer Scent & Spring Waltz)! I have yet to see a picture of the new bride and groom.

Wasn't it great how SSH's sworn brother So Ji Sup got on stage to congratulate SSH during the recent MBC Drama Awards ceremony! I love their deep friendship -- always there for each other! I feel all of his buddies are doing well.

Buddy SJS was great in "Something Happened in Bali" & "I'm Sorry I Love You"; his next drama to look forward to is "Cain & Abel" (sounds like another EOE?) Saw him recently in an old drama "Delicious Proposal" (2001) -- then-new stars, Ji Sung & Kwon Sang-woo, also appeared in it. Ji Sung's next drama is "Swallow in the Sun" with Sung Yuri (oops, SSH's ex-girlfriend). KSW next appears in "A Story Sadder Than Sadness" (movie or drama), which is scheduled to be shown on "White Day* -- March 14th. I enjoyed Park Yong-ha (Winter Sonata) in "On Air" -- his next movie is "The Scam." Lee Byung-hun's "The Good, the Bad, and the Weird" is apparently a success.

Angel Congratulations on the 1st anniversary of your joining this forum! I'm a couple of weeks behind you.

You're welcome, jimmylee78! Glad you enjoyed the pictures. Actually, I'm new at this "copying" stuff. It was good to hear from you as I was feeling a little lonely, ready to quit the forum.

I've been to New York City twice, '96 & '04, a fabulous city for tourists! Was able to walk up the Statue of Liberty, enjoyed shows Les Miserables & Miss Saigon, and had lunch at Wo Hop on Mott Street (still there?). Of course, I visited Ground Zero, site of 9/11.

Just finishedd reading "The Fortune Cookie Chronicles" by Jennifer 8. Lee (yes, that's lucky number 8!). She indicated that a Misa Chang, a Chinese immigrant, opened the restaurant Empire Szechuan Garden on Broadway & West 97th in Manhattan in 1976. Business was extremely slow until she began deliverying food (something new back then) and began distributing printed menus (also a new concept then!). Jennifer 8. Lee's chief mission in writing the book "was to solve the mystery of how dozens of people across America had won a lottery after receiving identical lucky numbers on their fortune cookies." This book is packed with interesting information!

Yes, it was AIMH that introduced me to SSH late '06, after Oppa finished his military service. I definitely struck gold when I came upon this forum!!!
