Hi everyone, back finally. Trip was fun but tiring. It’s amazing how one goes on holiday to rest and comes back feeling tired and needing more rest!

The thread has been active, thanks for the interesting reads and pics.

I think it is important that celebrities put on a certain persona to keep fans happy. Oppa has a great publicist, which accounts for his popularity through the years. Tom Cruise needs help with his….

Any news plots of possible Oppa Project. Oppa as a poet is a great idea. It can be a kmovie instead of soap so that he can film it fast.

Set in England, Oppa attends Oxford as a language students, fresh from Korea! Great shots of the old town and famed campus, Oxford.

Set in spring, Oppa starts new semester as a freshman who is learning English. He is on a Sports Scholarship for Swimming! Opportunity for Oppa to show off his new physique and swimming power. Must think of nice sexy swimming costume and ensure plenty of good shots of him hanging around the pool. Best to be OUT of the pool strutting about than IN the pool, don’t you think.

Oppa also a possible contender to represent Korea in the next Olympics taking place in London! Anyway… on campus in the meantime, he has to study something…..and it will be English. This is part of the plan to get him more international fans and hopefully get him out to the west and not just to Japan all the time.

Oppa, with the most fabulous wardrobe, wanders about in Oxford. He encounters new experience on campus and tries to blend in with locals. He joins a fraternity but still find it a culture shock.

One day, he is swimming and someone cries for help in the deep end of the pool! Oppa dives in to help and he saves Ms American Chinese girl from San Jose, who is also on scholarship and majoring in Korean. Friendship blooms and they decide to study together to learnt English and Korean from each other. They explore England on weekends and great OST will be used with slow motion shots and close up of beautiful Oppa!

In this movie, Oppa WILL NOT BE the following
1) an orphan
2) have lost any previous girlfriend/wife to freak accidents
3) will not have a pretty sister to complicate matters
4) will not be from a poor background
5) does not have any skeleton in the cupboard, no previous family secrets
6) will not be suffering from any disease, especially brain tumour or leukemia

He will have the following:
1) comes from perfectly well adjusted family with no misfits
2) have both parents alive, well and healthy
3) has a great wardrobe and hairstyle
4) different swimming trunks to complement the scene
5) speaks English without using dubbing
6) not use umbrella (cannot stand all the stupid umbrellas anymore!!!)

Anyway, it will be a light comedy with Oppa getting into all sorts of culture shocks and Ms American Chinese (AC) helping him adapt and cope.

In time, Oppa starts to fall in love with AC and decides to write poems to her. His English improves by leaps and bounds. AC decides to send his poems off for competitions and Oppa wins the Pulitizer Prize or whatever top prize they give to poets!

Oppa is now caught between becoming a poet or a Olympic swimmer. He is sad because he does not want to disappoint his country. But he loves poetry and the English countryside.

Should be become the next Bard or the next pin-up boy for Sports Illustrated?

Uchi, are you there. I need you to come onboard and help with titles and ending. Plus, we need to conduct auditions for role of American Chinese girlfriend. Please bring swimsuit along for audition. Be ready for kissing audition with Oppa. Please bring along best pout!

I enjoyed reading your new movie for Oppa. I can imagine a campus full of fans. Suddenly, Oxford receives tons of applications from oversea students! Way to collect sky-rocket non-residential tuitions, Oxford! But don’t you think Oppa is a bit old for a college freshman?

BTW, Oppa better be sincere with what he wrote in the DVD ONE’s letter, else his sweet talk already left many doors for attacking by his fans.

因大家一直在为我担心、祈祷和加油，所以我过得非常健康、非常好。
Thanks to all your concern, prayers and encouragement, I am able to stay so healthy and great.

再次衷心地道一声感谢。这次听说大家要进行夏香之旅。在拍夏日香气时，真的有很多美丽的、留在记忆中的拍摄 景点，虽然很想和各位一起去看看，但因为我目前的状况不允许，所以，下次如果有机会的话，真的很想和各位一 起做一次我自己曾拍摄过的夏香之旅。一直深信着这种机会一定会到来。在我之前的作品中，有不少喜爱的角色， 夏日香气中的敏宇也是自己很喜爱的角色之一。不是用头脑，而是用心灵去爱，因那份爱而伤心、痛苦，同时又是 得到很多爱的一个角色，而且，因为在目前的现实生活中我正体验着各位给予的同样的一份爱，所以对此抱着感激 在生活。
I thank you sincerely once again. I heard that you will be participating at the Summer Scent Tour. During the filming of Summer Scent, there were really many beautiful filming sites let in my memory. Although I really like to visit the sites with all of you, but my current situation does not permit me. So when there is an opportunity next next, I really like to join all of you in the Summer Scent tour which I had filmed before. I believe that this day will come true. In my previous work I have some favourite characters, and Min-woo in Summer Scent is also one of my favourite characters. He is one who loves not with his brain but with his heart. This love had brought him sorrow and pain but at the same time, he was also someone who received so much love. In real life today, I am receiving the same love from all of you, hence I am living life thankfully.

说到夏日香气，真的能令我想起、记起拍摄时的很多美丽的地方，首先是muju度假村，那里有很多漂亮的景点 ，还有宝城绿茶田，留下了很深的记忆，求婚房等…能想起不计其数的很多地点。如果大家都能去看看就好了。如 果时间允许的话，期待和各位一起去看看自己在拍摄夏日香气时曾看过的美丽的景点，大家是感受那些地方，而我 是重温记忆，如果成行，那将会是非常棒的一段时光。
Talking about Summer Scent, it really brought back memories of the many beautiful shooting sites. Firstly for Muju Resort, there are many beautiful sites, and Boseong tea plantation who left deep memories. There is also the Propose Room etc.. there were so many places to be remembered. It will be great if you can be there to see it. If time permits, I look forward to joining all of you to see the beautiful scenery during Summer Summer's fliming. Fo you, it is to feel the place but for me it means to revive memories. If this trip can take place, it will really be a great time.

Hmm, Oxford? Why Oxford? You know, even though it isn’t situated on the rolling hills, my campus Stanford is also noted for its exquisite beauty. With its dogwoods, oaks, magnolias, poplars, palms, Georgian buildings, Gothic revival manors, and stained glass windowed chapel, Stanford also has the old world charm and romance, not shy from that of the snobbish Oxford in … far away land. Further, Stanford is only 6hr of driving from Hollywood, 1 hr from Napa valley, 40 min from SF bay, and even closer proximity to many spcnet fans. If Oppa were to attend college, why send him to London where the only good food he can have is … Indian’s? Plus, the year-round beautiful climate of California is the perfect reason for Oppa to dress as scantily as he can ….

Anyway, FINE, Oxford is at about the equal distance from Asia and US. So, ok, Oxford it is. Fair for all fans! Let’s them all vie and attest their loves equitably by trekking mountains and seas to reach him. This time, HL fans no longer have the privilege of their home base, and all have to speak … English. Muahahaha

But I need to change something from the storyline. It’s shameful for him to be a freshman at 30. So why don’t we heighten his status at Oxford several knots – Oppa goes to Oxford to TEACH … Korean, Poetry, and Swimming, in exchange for his learning of … English.

Boy, imagine a campus full of new Oppa-addicted students/ajummas, who paid big tuition bucks to fill their college schedules with just KOR101, POET101, and SWM101, all taught by world renowned professor/actor/singer/military-man/Oppa … James Song.

MV title? How about … “My Tutor Song”, or “A Korean Mascot In London”, or “The Chutney Professor”, or “HRHSSH” (His Royal Highness …), or “My Name Is James Bond (I Mean … Song)”, or “I’m Sorry, I Teach You”, or “Love Story In Oxford”?

Some twists? How about Oppa and HRH prince William caught under a voodoo spell and each is trapped in the other's body (Freaky Friday’s sorta way)? So imagine prince William’s spirit in Oppa’s body gets hounded around by Asian ajummas in Oxford campus, while Oppa’s chi in HRH’s frame goes to Windsor and gets caught by his … broken and Asian accented English.

Under the mysterious spell, Oppa amazes his Asian ajummas/students with HRH’s perfect noble tongue. But ajummas also think that Oppa suffers from amnesia because he has no clue about kdrama, AIMH, SS, The Cool Guy, or even the most recent SS tour. Worst of all, he’s aghast at the smell of kimchi and even insists to change HL to HHL (His Highness of London)

On the other hand, Oppa’s spirit in prince William’s at Windsor stuns the royal family with his Korean language skill , “cry on demand” talent , and his love for a stew called “Chige”. Desolated in the palace, Oppa in prince William’s begins making endless video message clips and passionate poems/love letters to his fans. These “works of arts”, all address his beloved “official” fans and are to be kept “exclusively”, or else, legal action will be imminent.

The ending? Luckily, the spell can be unraveled under a fan’s FIRST KISS.
Hey, this is very good opportunity for … YOUNG fan who never comes across this “intimacy”. Married ajummas will likely fail the requirement. And isn’t it cool to kiss either Oppa or HRH prince William?

So, come one, come all, young fans. Save that first kiss to … save … Oppa.

BTW, due to his living in Windsor for some times, even though Oppa does not carry his color-coordinated umbrellas, he sports the many Englishman hat pieces instead, including the furry tall hat worn by the palace guards.

Thanks Colette. It's good to be back online. It's odd being away from a computer for almost 3 weeks.
I was on vacation. Had a good time down-under! Weather was great in Sydney, sunny on most of the days. A bit cooler up in the Blue Mountains and down in Tasmania but still super. It's a beautiful country, it's my third trip there. Some parts remind me a lot of CA. Great wine country, just like Napa/Sonoma. Beautiful drives along the coast, reminded me a lot of driving along cliff-hugging Hwy 1 (I miss the Pacific Coast)

If you travel East, it's possible to do bits of Oz on the same trip. One of my friend took a month off and did Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, some parts of Japan, and ending in Oz and then back to LA.

I do think Oppa is a really nice person. But his letter in ONE DVD was a bit 'flowery' and over the top, maybe Koreans write differently or maybe it was the translation. Anyway, his recent letter to Summer Scent Tour fan was nice. There was also a letter that came with the Yakusoku Coffee Table Photo Book. I looked at it but I could not understand it. I don't have a scanner or else I can put it online for Uchi to help translate. If anyone has a soft copy, please post it. I am curious. I bought the book because the pics are nice, taken in Jeju before he entered the army.

i also love the plot where Oppa and prince William swapped bodies like in Freaky Friday. it'd be very weird that HL fans now have exclusive message clips with prince William speaking Korean. great promotion it'd be if there's also such clip for SG Wannabe's concert, dont you think? at least, the clips will be shoot from Windsor palace, so guarantee nice background instead of the dirty 'bathroom' wall.

Hmm, Oxford? Why Oxford? You know, even though it isn’t situated on the rolling hills, my campus Stanford is also noted for its exquisite beauty. With its dogwoods, oaks, magnolias, poplars, palms, Georgian buildings, Gothic revival manors, and stained glass windowed chapel, Stanford also has the old world charm and romance, not shy from that of the snobbish Oxford in … far away land. Further, Stanford is only 6hr of driving from Hollywood, 1 hr from Napa valley, 40 min from SF bay, and even closer proximity to many spcnet fans. If Oppa were to attend college, why send him to London where the only good food he can have is … Indian’s? Plus, the year-round beautiful climate of California is the perfect reason for Oppa to dress as scantily as he can ….

Anyway, FINE, Oxford is at about the equal distance from Asia and US. So, ok, Oxford it is. Fair for all fans! Let’s them all vie and attest their loves equitably by trekking mountains and seas to reach him. This time, HL fans no longer have the privilege of their home base, and all have to speak … English. Muahahaha

But I need to change something from the storyline. It’s shameful for him to be a freshman at 30. So why don’t we heighten his status at Oxford several knots – Oppa goes to Oxford to TEACH … Korean, Poetry, and Swimming, in exchange for his learning of … English.

Boy, imagine a campus full of new Oppa-addicted students/ajummas, who paid big tuition bucks to fill their college schedules with just KOR101, POET101, and SWM101, all taught by world renowned professor/actor/singer/military-man/Oppa … James Song.

MV title? How about … “My Tutor Song”, or “A Korean Mascot In London”, or “The Chutney Professor”, or “HRHSSH” (His Royal Highness …), or “My Name Is James Bond (I Mean … Song)”, or “I’m Sorry, I Teach You”, or “Love Story In Oxford”?

Some twists? How about Oppa and HRH prince William caught under a voodoo spell and each is trapped in the other's body (Freaky Friday’s sorta way)? So imagine prince William’s spirit in Oppa’s body gets hounded around by Asian ajummas in Oxford campus, while Oppa’s chi in HRH’s frame goes to Windsor and gets caught by his … broken and Asian accented English.

Under the mysterious spell, Oppa amazes his Asian ajummas/students with HRH’s perfect noble tongue. But ajummas also think that Oppa suffers from amnesia because he has no clue about kdrama, AIMH, SS, The Cool Guy, or even the most recent SS tour. Worst of all, he’s aghast at the smell of kimchi and even insists to change HL to HHL (His Highness of London)
On the other hand, Oppa’s spirit in prince William’s at Windsor stuns the royal family with his Korean language skill , “cry on demand” talent , and his love for a stew called “Chige”. Desolated in the palace, Oppa in prince William’s begins making endless video message clips and passionate poems/love letters to his fans. These “works of arts”, all address his beloved “official” fans and are to be kept “exclusively”, or else, legal action will be imminent.

The ending? Luckily, the spell can be unraveled under a fan’s FIRST KISS.
Hey, this is very good opportunity for … YOUNG fan who never comes across this “intimacy”. Married ajummas will likely fail the requirement. And isn’t it cool to kiss either Oppa or HRH prince William?

So, come one, come all, young fans. Save that first kiss to … save … Oppa.

BTW, due to his living in Windsor for some times, even though Oppa does not carry his color-coordinated umbrellas, he sports the many Englishman hat pieces instead, including the furry tall hat worn by the palace guards.

Given that we have already written 3 other scripts for Oppa and they will take place in North Korea (clone story), Napa Valley (chige chef/dental story) and Hawaii (hula dancer story), I thought moving the next one to the European side of the globe would ensure that he gets more of the globe covered.

Adding HRH Prince William is a good ploy, if we can get Beckham to do a cameo, it'll be even more super. Oppa can kick a few balls about as well. He needs to show off his legs a bit more.

The Brits are quite wacky people, I am just thinking if Oppa does not get suffer from exhaustion after making 4 movies in a row, we could follow up with one along the line of Austin Power!

Just like in A Day MTV, Oppa was sashaying rollickingly with his golf club on the green grass of the famous Jack London’s soccer field.
Oppa: (tosses a football to thin air and calls out) David, get the ball! (just like in A Day)

But David Ji Jinhee, his deceased pilot friend is no longer around!
David Beckham: (standing nearby, still fuming from an earlier fight with his SPICE girl) What’s it with this man? I’m a soccer mega-star. Why he threw a football at me?

Oppa: (smiles shyly and prettily) Mianhamnida! (I’m sorry!)

HRHSSH: (in his perfect Shakespeare accent) Silent! Thou should curtsy at my sight and shall not address me “Oppa” as it stands for “grand father” in German! I am your Prince of Windsor. Though I inherited thin hair from papa – the Prince of Wales, youth I possess in full, but fear thou art not!

Ajummas: (puzzled) Don’t you remember your Summer Scent?

HRHSSH: (getting more irritated) Nonsense! Perspire I do but also bathe daily to rid of that Summer Scent!

Ajummas: (empathizing) Ah, you must miss your mom’s Chige.

HRHSSH: (very annoyed) I beg your pardon! Mummy breathed her last in a car accident years passed. Miss her I do, but I shall forbid thou calling mummy either “cheesy” or “gay”.

Ajummas: Oppa, it was your fiancé who died in a car accident in Summer Scent, not your mom.

HRHSSH: (gnashing his teeth then turning to the side, he orders) Bring me the biggest sword and I shall hue these old fogies to halves for ill-mannered.

Lover fan: You bet! I love you. What can I do to bring you back to your Oppa’s frame? I’ll do anything including becoming your “official” fan.

SSHHRH: Jo-yong-hi ha-sip-ssi-yo! Na-reul ki-seu-ha-sip-ssi-yo! (Shut up! Just kiss me!)

Smooch, smooch, … . SSHHRH turns back to “pure” HRH.

Lover fan: Oppa, will you marry me?

HRH: (awaken from the spell) Help! This common maiden just kissed me! Seize her, henchmen!

Lover fan: (angry) Sire, I have tuberculosis. Now, you officially inherited this terminal disease from the … kiss.

HRH: (faints)

(the truth is: ms. Chinese American is as healthy as Hercules. The disease is fabricated to fright the young prince.)

Scene 4: At the campus, Oppa is freed from the spell. He takes off his lavish Swiss-army-knight suit and rushes to Windsor palace to rescue his lover fan. In the hurry, he wears only a teeny swim trunk from Happy Together. Lots of legs showcase in this scene.

Oppa: (at palace gate) Ba-ra-me-seo yeo-a, na-neun neo-reul wi-hae yeo-gi in-neun-da! (Girl from the wind, I’m here for you!)

Lover fan: (runs out and hugs Oppa, from his back). Oh, Oppa, Wo ai nin! (she’s Chinese American)

Oppa: (shivering and tears rolling down his cheeks) Dangshineul, saranghamnida! Na-reul wi-e na-ui pi-bo-geul du-neun si-ki-sip-ssi-yo. Cha-da! (I always love you too! But let me put on some cloth. I’m freezed!)

And so they embrace , in front of Windsor palace (with Oppa still in his swim trunk) and beautiful OST played in the background. Snow falls down from the sky and it’s April! Behind the palace’s iron fence, prince William goes berserk, running around the palace courtyard fretting for his life and the deadly disease just tainted … THE END.
