Having watch Dae Janggeum and Damo, I think I prefer Chinese Wuxu costumes over Korean's old time clothing. Korean ancient costumes are too baggy and they have these wierd hat-pieces. Also men keep tying a rope/belt up high in an empire-waist style-like that makes them look fat and short. Maybe old-time Korean had big bellies so they couldn't tie their belts around their waists?

Oppa looks like a voodoo master or inn-keeper or herbal medicine store owner in these pics.

part of it is maybe because youre more used to seeing Chinese wuxu costumes than Korean ancient clothing? there're not too many Korean old time series while there're tons of chinese wuxu/kungfu series. unless youre korean, otherwise most of us have been watching Chinese soaps for years before switching over to kdramas.

don't u think wuxu chinese soaps' costume designs go too far off from the truth, especially in the late series? the costumes and hairstyles look more and more like japanese anime characters. so unrealistic! YongGuo in latest 06 ROCH even has his hair died red and many of the outfits in that series look so NON-chinese.

Damo was my first old time kdrama. in the begining, i thought the costumes were not fancily designed, but they likely come closer to the clothing actually worn in the past. after a while, i got use to it, and thought this simple way of dressing is more refreshing to look at.

Hey guys,

I did a bit research on Seung Heon's websites about the possible relationship between Seung Heon and Sung Yuri and here's what I got:

Sung Yuri of Finkl and Yoon Kye Sang of GOD were on and off couple since 1999.
They were reportedly broke up in early 2003 before Kye Sang left for his 100 day tour in asia. During the time they were together, Kye Sang and Yuri wore couple rings. They stopped wearing the coupling rings during this split.

During this time, there were rumors that Song Seung Heon and Sung Yuri dating.
Probably because they modeled together for Andre Kim in his Mongolia fashion show in 2003.
But shortly after that, there were news that SSH and SYR also broke up and Yuri and Kye Sang were back together again.

In fact, no one ever saw Seung Heon and Yuri together except for during the Andre Kim fashion show. Rumor also has it that stories about Seung Heon and Yuri are all fictitious to further polish their careers because the two were so famous.

Yuri and Kye Sang denied that they are back together. Both claimed as only "friends" and too busy for relationship. Anyway, Kye Sang also joined the army last year and won't be back until end of 2007. Even if they're back together before he went to the army, not sure if she'd wait for him.

I somewhat agree with seungheoney. I'd prefer seeing Yuri with Kye Sang than with Seung Heon. Maybe I also want Seung Heon to stay "free" for a while.

Ya. 2-1 victory – such heady game it was, the S.Korea vs Togo game on Tuesday! It vexed the sh!! out of me during the first half. Thanks to substitute Ahn Jung-hwan who rifled home the winner at 72nd minute. So, Ahn Jung-hwan is not just cute, he can also score . This is first time ever that S.Korea won on the European soil. Must be great motivation for them for the rest of the world cup.

Did you watch Japan vs. Australia game on Monday? It was a massive shock! Thought for sure JP would bring home the cheers until Australia scored three nonstop goals in the last eight minutes! What was it with JP defend men and goalee ? A good lesson to learn for them: don’t be complacent too soon with their yet-to-prove victory.

btw, glad to see another soccer lover in this thread.
S.Korea next games? Jun/18 @ French, and Jun/23 @ Switzerland.
