Hello everyone! This is my first time posting any kind of message in this forum, so I am really new at all this. I'm really excited about being on this forum, though, because I've already learned a lot about Song Seung Hun through all the previous posts. I'm still going through the threads and am having a lot of fun in the process. Thank you all for all your posts.

I've been a fan of SSH for a very little while...only this year. I just kinda stumbled upon the k-dramas and have been hooked on them ever since. I've been a fan of SSH since I saw him in Summer Scent and then later in Autumn in My Heart. He is my favorite actor! I live in the U.S. and don't know how to speak any other language besides English so I'm not able to log onto some of his more prominent websites to find out more about him. Has anyone on this forum ever sent him fan mail or packages? If so, where do you send them to? Can you give me an address or email? Mahalo in advance!!

Ask away, Islandgirl, there are no silly questions here, because all of us are curious and like to know more about Oppa SSH. Some of us have been Oppa's fan for many years, and others are new fans. I'm not sure if you are able to get all his drama series and movies where you are staying, but it is worth watching them if you want to experience all of Oppa's work.
He's matured a lot since he entered showbiz and you get to see him play different roles in the different movies/drama. Other than playing the role of a tragic lover (Autumn, Summer, Calla), he's also a great comedian (3Men 3 Women, Cool Guy, Popcorn). He is convincing in action movies too (Ice Rain, Cheat, Make it Big). Oppa is also a great singer and successful model! Wow... the list goes on. All in all, our Oppa is one ultra talented, super sexy, gloriously gorgeous male specimen! Plastic surgery or not, he's one lucky man because he seems to have it all! No wonder he's got ajummas running/clinging to him!
We try to have a lot of fun on this thread. If you ever feel like being wacky, just start something and we'll try to join in to have some good fun!

The title, now that I realize it, is more chinese than korean, and the quality is pretty poor. A friend of mine has an original copy that she got which was sent directly from Korea. However, the person she bought it from is no longer selling copies

yes, virtual twilight and so close are the same movie. he plays yen, not a major character but he plays love interest of the older sister, lynn...everyone speaks cantonese in it even oppa but his voice is dubbed...i haen't seen cheat either dunnoy what's about sorry...

Hi Islanggirl, try my best to answer the questions you asked....
The movie was released both as So Close and Virtual Twilight. It starred 3 Asian beauties and Oppa as the love interest of one of the characters, played Shu Qi. If you just want to watch the movie for Oppa, then you'll likely be disappointed. The DVD version offers English as a spoken option, english subtitles also available. Oppa appears less than 15 minutes in the entire movie. However, you can get quite a lot of footage of him in Hong Kong promoting the movie on youtube. Oppa looked very handsome and looked so happy in all the clips.
If you want to see more of him, try his other movies like Ice Rain, Message (one story in a series), Make It Big, he played much bigger starring roles in those.
Cheat, also released at Police and Blood in some regions. In this kdrama, Oppa played a uprighteous policeman who was wrongfully accused of misconduct, he later became a conman (but a good one). Oppa must have been superfit when he played this role, there was lots of stunts and he exhibited his strengths doing off-the-floor push-ups and sit-ups etc.
Summer Scent, I've only ever seen Korean/Chinese/Japan versions. Never ever seen a English dubbed version anywhere.
Have you checked out YesAsia, it offers many different releases and the price vary widely. Generally, the price on this site is not cheap. Also, the shipping also takes a long time. Drove me berserk just waiting for the stuff to arrive!
You must try to watch The Cool Guy, it's a very entertaining movie and Oppa was excellent in the role. Most people who have seen it liked it and it was big in Japan.
Oppa is in the army now so he hasn't released any new work. Video stores also seem to carry only recent popular titles. May take you some effort to hunt for Oppa's older work. I've tried looking for 3 Men 3 Women and only succeeded in getting one season.

Kim Bum Soo's "A Day" is a MTV that starred Oppa and Song Hye Gyo. It was filmed in Canada. Oppa looked very handsome in it, he spotted the same hairdo as he did in Autumn. The story is tragic.
I think it was released only in selected countries.The version I have comes with a second disc which contains interviews and scenes from the making-of.
In Message, Oppa starred as a shoe salesman who is also a playboy. He took over a friend's pager and started getting messages from a girl played by Choi who mistook him to be the original owner of the pager. Anyway, to cut the long story short, he fell in love! In my opinion, not one of his best movies, but you should watch it if you can. He was dressed in a lot of flowery shirts!
Enjoy Calla, it's got a great OST. And not forgetting a very young looking Oppa. Gorgeous even back then......

共同製作電影的電影公司表示希望由宋承憲及其他原班人馬主演.
預定明年8月中旬拍攝,明年底放映.
宋承憲方面還沒有具體意見.
不過外界認為宋承憲經紀公司GM是購買版權的poibos的子公司.
GM的金代表又是poibos最大股東,所以宋承憲出演的可能性相當高.

The joint film makers of the movie said that they hoped to have SSH and the original cast to film this movie.
The movie is scheduled to be filmed in August next year and screened at end of next year.
No comments were made by SSH and representative.
Poibos bought the copyright of the movie and is the parent company of GM (SSH's management company). With GM's boss Mr Kim being the biggest shareholder of Poibos, external sources believe that there is a high possibility that SSH will cast in the movie.
