No. She is a singer turned actress.

Andre Kim's shows have become famous in Korea for featuring celebrities each season. Besides Seung Heon and Sung Yuri, Kim Hee-seon, Choi Ji-woo, Han Yae-seul, and Won Bin also had appeared on his shows. Andre Kim said that it's his own personal tributes to the celebrities who have been helping to promote Korea internationally over the year.

Here are some more pics from Andre Kim's shows ...

The thing that Top Star Kwon SangWoo and Song SeungHeon said goodbye to each other with tears has been known by people.

Kwon SangWoo would fly to New York for shooting "Sad Sonata" on Oct.31th, before the day he left, he said goodbye to his close friend Song SeungHeon achingly.

Some one said, "Kwon SangWoo and Song SeungHeon met in somewhere in Seoul for during Kwon SangWoo being in New York, Song SeungHeon perhaps would join in the army."

"When thinkting that he counld't see Song SeungHeon enter into the army himself, Kwon SangWoo felt very regretful. While their parting, they embraced each other and cried. It made people around so surprised."

    "Warm parting! My friend, goodbye!"

Close friends Kwon SangWoo and Song SeungHeon, having a drink together, said goodbye to each other.

On 30th night last month, they stayed in Kwon SangWoo's home and inspired with each other, confirming their friendship before parting.

For shooting drama "Sad Sonata", Kwon SangWoo had to leave for New York on 31th afternoon, he planned to come back on 20th next month, but during Kwon SangWoo's stay in New York, Song SeungHeon may join the army. Kwon SangWoo and Song SeungHeon are all models for clothes CF in the early times of 1990s and entered into the entertainment field together. Song SeungHeon's partner at that time was just Kwon SangWoo, so from then on, they started their friendship that has kept for ten years already. As common men, Kwon SangWoo invited Song SeungHeon to go to his home before his friend would join in the army.

Both of them had a drink at home , and talked closely.Kwon SangWoo said, "After you enter into the army, please take care of yourself and try your best.", and Song SeungHeon said, "I'm so sorry that you suffered a lot because of me, if you have any time, please come to see me in the army." They comforted and inspired with each other.

Especially, Song SeungHeon repeated words that he's so sorry for effects he took to fans, staff and producers because he couldn't act in this drama, also, he expected pressingly that everything of the drama would be OK. Two months ago, after the cast of drama "Sad Sonata" was made sure, they nearly were together every day and both expressed their decision that they must do their best. Kwon SangWoo also expressed in the making announcement of "Sad Sonata" in last month that, "No matter what it would be, it will be OK as long as I can act with SeungHeon."

But Song SeungHeon couldn't act finally for he invovled in the affair of lawless military service, and now he was waiting for joining in the army.

Otherwise, the part Gun Woo in "Sad Sonata" which would be acted by Song SeungHeon before , would be acted by Yeon JungHoon. After Yeon JungHoon got the American Visa, he would leave for New York and assemble with other actors Kim Hee Sun, Kwon SangWoo and so on. On the other hand, Yeon JungHoon planned to join in the army next year.

But overall, his English is understandable, especially if you'd consider his residency in non-english speaking Korea.

Originally, Seung Heon was a prospective star for Tsui Hark's Seven Swords. Charlie Yeung Choi-Lei, when asked if she was concerned about communication problems with her Korean co-star, Yeung remarked: "I've met with him already. He speaks really good English so I don't have to brush up on my Korean."
    (see: http://www.hkentreview.com/2004/jul...0701to0703.html)

I don't know about his Mandarin and Vietnamese. In the Summer Scent's interview, he said "how are you", "my name is Song ChengHsien" in Mandarin, then he said "hello" and "thank you" in Vietnamese; and that was all.
It's funny though, that he said "Chao anh" (hello, brother) to a Vietnamese female reporter. When corrected, he rectified "Chao anh. chao co" (hello, brother. hello, miss) to her.

SSH carried out his chinese dialogues for his part in So Close while filming. But It wasn't his voice that you heard in So Close at the end. They dubbed his voice!
It'd be interesting to hear him more in Chinese though.
Great! So I can speak English to him, if I ever have a chance to meet him.
It's very nice of him to try speaking in Chinese and Vietnamese to the news reporters.
But saying "hello, brother" to a female report, Haha, that's too hilarious!

So are you Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese, or Korean, uchikake? You seem to know many languages.

    I'm Chinese.

I learnt some Vietnamese through friends during college years.
Oh, my Vietnamese is probably not much better than SSH's. But for some basic one-liners like "Chao, anh", "Chao, co" or "cam on", yes, no problem!
Same with Korean, only learnt it through friends some one-liners.

My Chinese is better because my mom enforces me to speak that at home.

I speak some Japanese because I lived in Japan for a while before coming to US.

    You're Vietnamese, i guess?

    Hey guys,

I did a bit research on Seung Heon's websites about the possible relationship between Seung Heon and Sung Yuri and here's what I got:

Sung Yuri of Finkl and Yoon Kye Sang of GOD were on and off couple since 1999.
They were reportedly broke up in early 2003 before Kye Sang left for his 100 day tour in asia. During the time they were together, Kye Sang and Yuri wore couple rings. They stopped wearing the coupling rings during this split.

During this time, there were rumors that Song Seung Heon and Sung Yuri dating.
Probably because they modeled together for Andre Kim in his Mongolia fashion show in 2003.
But shortly after that, there were news that SSH and SYR also broke up and Yuri and Kye Sang were back together again.

In fact, no one ever saw Seung Heon and Yuri together except for during the Andre Kim fashion show. Rumor also has it that stories about Seung Heon and Yuri are all fictitious to further polish their careers because the two were so famous.

Yuri and Kye Sang denied that they are back together. Both claimed as only "friends" and too busy for relationship. Anyway, Kye Sang also joined the army last year and won't be back until end of 2007. Even if they're back together before he went to the army, not sure if she'd wait for him.

I somewhat agree with seungheoney. I'd prefer seeing Yuri with Kye Sang than with Seung Heon. Maybe I also want Seung Heon to stay "free" for a while.

Pics of Yuri and Kye-sang with their couple rings.

I didn't save the clips for the entire interview. I went back to seungheonplanet to look for them but can only find 1 clip with him speaking several lines in Chinese and Vietnamese during that interview in Taiwan.

If you want that clip, let me know how to upload it to some place where you can download. I've never done that before, so will need some pointers.

I went to youtube.com and watched He Was Cool at lunch today.

The quality of the clips were so poor, but, OMG, how COOL and CUTE Song Seung Heon was.

uchikake was right: no one can tell that it was a 28 years old man who acted as a highschool boy.
Seung Heon looked thin in this movie. Maybe he intensionally shed weight to look younger. I like his hair style in He Was Cool a lot, partly straight, partly wavy, and the color is just perfect for his complexion. He dresses cool too.

I did not know that Seung Heon's martial art skill is that good, or at least he carried out the moves very well. Now that I know he is not just a pretty face but also a great fighter, I just love him more than ever.

Jung Da Bin was better than what I imagined. In fact, I think she is even better looking than that long straight hair girl who's in love with Ji Eung Sung. She cracked me up badly with the scene where she wore a zebra suit and stucked her head between the fence's wires too. I like the part where she told Eung Sung of her prince charming dream, then when Eung Sung distorted her with "okay, then next, the prince will tell you that he loves you", but she smacked back "no, he said nothing, Because love requires no word". Later, Eung Sung said the same to her at the ending. I thought it was really sweet and cute.

I love this movie! I'm going to find out how to get a copy so I can rewatch it ... every lunch.
