Yeung Hong vs. Wong Yung early in LOCH

It seems odd to compare these two (of all people) in martial arts, but during the early part of LOCH (i.e. prior to Wong Yung learning the Beat Dog Stick Technique or anything from the 9 Yum Jen Ging), how did Yeung Hong and Wong Yung compare in terms of martial arts skill? They seemed to be at about the same level (i.e. sub-Gong Nam 7 Freaks).

Don't forget that YK was taught by Qiu Chuji and MCF at that time.
So I guess that HR & YK seemed to be at about the same level since HR didn't really practice his dad KungFu.
