WCY adaptation

i remember seeing a TVB adaptation of the story of WCY a long time ago, starring ekin cheng. was that ever a novel by JY? and if so, what was it called?

i only remember a tiny bit because i was pretty young when it aired...but i remember that ekin was WCY, ZBT was in it (and he sucked horribly at kungfu compared to WCY) and the last battle was WCY and LCY using what LOOKED like jade maiden swordplay to defeat a guy who got 9yin and was bulletproof or something.
