Hmm... I don't know... I would rather have him write a brand new novel, with a brand new hero that has nothing to do or has no connection with all of his other novels, and put in some mystery, humor, thriller, and spy film essence to it.

I'm familiar with the ROCH most, therefore, I will give you my points on the first two events.
1).I don't think Jin Yong would ever write a novel about a"fight to death" spar between Guo Jing and Yang Guo. If it ever happens, and based on Guo Jing personality, he would rather die in YG hands than to kill YG. Besides, GJ always treats YG as one of his own sons, and YG had saved his daughters and wife so manytime, and GJ always blames himself for YG left-arm loss, therefore, GJ feels like he owes YG too much. Thus, we will never figure out who is truely the best. Another thing, if a spar with this big magnitude happens, then how come is it never mentioned in HSDS? that really puts a big confusion to readers when they read HSDS.

2). Xiao Long Nu vs Huang Rong.
this only would happen if GJ kills YG, and XLN decides to take revenge for her husband, otherwise, I doubt this event ever will take place. XLN is the kind of girl who wouldn't give a damn about what others think of her, good or bad (a big opposite to YG). She didn't even kill that guy who raped her, and in ROCH, JY never mentions that XLN even has just a slight idea how to take revenge on those WCY followers who killed her old lady, who was the only relative XLN had in Stone Temple.

Yep, I'd rather see him write another story( it would be awesome, if it involves with Condor Heroes or other novels), but I don't like the idea of him writing a mystery or a thriller novel (that doesn't sound right to me at all). He needs to stick to what he does best, and that's writing Wuxia fiction novels.

It's about Guo Jing and Yang Guo Descendents who become a couple so Guo Jing & Yang Kang parent's wish could come true.

Who said it has to be a fight to the death? It can be a spar like it was between YG and CBT or YG and HYS. Although they probably quit when it has to come to an internal strength match.

If it will be possible at all, I think there should be some potentials for Jin Yong to write more about the last day of GJ and HR. This can be done by either extending the last part of ROCH or adapting the first part of HSDS. Another point that might be added is the background of the Yellow Girl.
