You didn't list yours. Favorite...hmm... I've seen so many. But his most memorable performance was in "A Better Tomorrow" (1986).

Runners Up: I'm judging his performance, not the movies' qualitiy:

    Hong Kong 1941
    City on Fire
    Prison on Fire 1,2
    The Killer
    God of Gambler
    Full Contact
    Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
    All About Ah Long

I'm one of the few, I suppose, but I always felt that Chow Yun Fat did his best acting work in his TVB days. I liked almost all of Chow Yun Fat's 1970s and 1980s TVB series, and his acting in those series was always superb. In all these years, however, I've never found a Chow Yun Fat *movie* that I really liked. Chow Yun Fat's acting was always very sharp and crisp back in his TVB days, but in his movies, he just seems to coast and go through the motions.

Movies are short, thus he doesn't have the chance to showcase his entire arsenal of skills.

My favorite Chow Yun Fat movies would be "A Better Tommorrow" series. All 3 movies was great and full of great acting and gun fights.

    I will pick a comedy...

Er, what's the one that stars him and Anita Mui? The one about him being a village bumpkin trained by her into becoming a suave playboy?
