Littlestream, have you been watching the serial? May I ask how it is so far? I would really like to watch this also...has it been released in the US Vietnamese stores? I really want to watch this for Maggie Cheung, a brilliant actress, in my opinion. She has put alot of effort into filming this show in China and because of it she has fallen ill with Graves Disease. Has she shown up in the show yet? Thanks! Tell me what you think!

Oh......what an excellent production!!!

I enjoyed it very much. Tse Kwan Ho's portrayal of Mr. Chen is brilliant!!!! He is simply SUPERB!!! His moves and actions were very calculated and thus able to transport the audience to understand how he feels. I felt him. I wonder if his speech were dubbed. Whoever spoke for the character was very good. Both the speech/tone of voice and Tse Kwan Ho fit the character to a T.

Huang Yi was very good too. And so was the actress who played her supposingly best friend. In fact, all the actors/actress were great!!!

Beautiful love story and sub plots.

I like it. It may be slow but I like and enjoyed it.

I watch it in Mandarin so I'm not sure if it is available in Vietnamese. Sorry.

Yes, I did. After I turned off my TV and DVD player, I was still thinking about the movie and the pain/sufferings of Wang Chi Yao played by Sammi Cheng. I thought Sammi did well but sadly the movie was considered a flop from what I read in other sites.

As well, I thought Tony Leung played his character very well. But it is difficult to compare a movie and a series because one is short and the time to savour the character is limited also.

Having said that, I love Tse Kwan Ho. After watching this series, I love him even more. He played the character so well. What a talented actor, he is. While some shots were like slow but I found the speed or lack of it, allow me to digest his feelings and emotions.

Happy watching. There are funny scenes but get ready for the tissue box too.

i doubt the series is in viet already, for those who are seeking for the viet version, like myself.. since CHINA production takes a long long time to get dubbed n sent around the world.. it'll prob take a year as do most of theire series, i dunno y but it happened to b so.. kinda make me sad though..

Maggie came on at about episode 13? Sorry, I forgot but around there. Well, she is a fine actress so she did very well. But I must say, so did Huang Yi.

In fact, the whole cast did very well and it is so easy to re-watch it again and soon. I really enjoy the love story between Mr Chen and Chi Yao, if I can call it a love story at all. And Chi Yao's friendship with Lily. The actress who played Lily is, in a while, quite comical.

Even Chi Yao's parents were comical, in the initial episodes. I like it that there is no real baddie too.

I hope you get to watch it soon so we can exchange notes and comments.

i think these are the kinda series that needs more focus in the personalities of the main character, since they r all ver deep!! slowness IMO is not an issue, if its good its good.. if its bad, thats another story.. cant wait to c it!!
