Li Ya Peng - All That Basketball Love ;)

I cannot believe he hasn't been mentioned. Yes, he's 33 and he's not exactly the The.Hottest.Guy.Ever but (seeing that I have quite cultivated Americanish tastes) he's really the only actor that's caught my eye.

I've been a fan ever since Xiao Ao Jiang Hu 2001 came out - I borrowed it at my Chinese School and instantly fell (madly) for Ling Hu Chong and tracked down who played him. [evil cackle]

Next I watched Legend Of The Condor Heroes (She Diao Ying Xiong Zhuan) 2003 (quite late) and was looking around for screencaps, found spcnet, and here I am, making a thread about the actor who I find devastatingly handsome.

I really liked Li Ya Peng in XAJH 2001 as Linghu Chong as well. He gave such a sad, but very convincing performance. Yes, he's not that handsome, but I think he's a good actor.

yeaaa! finally someone who agrees with me! in my opinion Li Ya Peng is the most handsome chinese actor ever (in the chinese movies I've watched which are all wuxia). Finally! a male character for the female audience members to drool at. I'm getting sick of watching serials where only the female actresses are half decent to look at. I think the wuxia is turning me gay because all the men are so ugly.

Anyway I like it that Mr Li is tall and he has such a cute smile. It really does it for me.

I agree, he does not have a "pretty" face and I think that's a plus because he would not be typecast to play to pretty boy. Of course, not having a pretty face does not mean he is not good looking. I think he is a fine looking man ... he he

BTW, he got a new show just started shooting where he play a police and hitman (not sure how a person can be both).

I totally agree you with Lady Riddel! For a while I'd been reduced to skipping every scene with the male cast since they all looked more-or-less like burnt toast. Pity how in China there seems to be an abundance of pretty females and no remotely cute males.

Not to flame or anything babybunny, but even if he's ugly and was horrible in LOCH, it's still not pleasant to wish him ill in his relationships.

You can dislike him all you want, but be nice. I, for one, hate Mariah Carey (singing and all), but if she wants to have a relationship with Eminem...I'd hope they are happy together.

I don't know the English title of it is...part of the Chinese title is something something Ri Yue Xing.
