Im pretty sure that his heaven iron sword + XLN mutual combat Jade Maiden swordplay is stronger then that.

Why did Yang Guo decide to use Jade Maiden swordplay with XLN at the end again?

He didn't. Yang Guo never used the Jade Maiden swordplay again after he stopped using the Gentleman Sword. In fact, the last time he combined his technique with Xiaolongnu's was when Li Mochou stole Guo Xiang. And after Xiaolongnu combined the Twin-Hand Technique with the Jade Maiden and Quanzhen Sword techniques, she was perhaps fighting better than she had with Yang Guo's help.

He abondened his heavy sword at loveless valley, guo couple picked it up, possibly from his sworn sisters. He was using barehand as he had reached swordlessness level.
