They say Joey Yung has connections with Albert Yeung so connections to the traids.

Nah. Ng Kai Ming quit the traids shortly after he was fired (i.e. go to the police station and apply for "sai dai" elimination of connections with triads).

Read in the newspaper that he was forced into it in high school or something.

You can LEGALLY quit the triads, by declaring in the police station to have nothing more with traid activities, but whether or not there are REALLY no more ties is another problem.

I think they have an idea of who from informants, but don't have the evidence to charge them.
