Of course this happens. Hk idols are cheap. Not all, but a lot are. If you're just a vase fame ***** with nothing but looks and sex appeal, and you can't make it on talent alone, then what do you do?

Pauline Chan had a pretty crap life and despite her behaviour and actions, I sympathize with her.

She entered into a beauty pageant at 17 and didn't win, but her mother signed her in for heaps of porn movies as she was a minor and she couldn't protest.

No many people can separate themsleves from the porn industry once you have started (execption: Shu Qi), so Pauline descended into drugs and open behaviour under the influence.

I felt very sad when I read the news that she had died. And she says she really really hates her mother. I also pity her son.

- Simon Yam's character "T Gwun": is based on famous HK middle-aged playboy Lau Hong Luen (aka L Gwun), who has paid for many beautiful actress to spend the night(s).

- Simon Yam's "Wife" "Szeto Wing Kum (i think)": is based on (SURPRISE) L Gwun's wife, Bo Wing Kum, who passed away last year due to cancer. She's not as psychotic as the one in ADND, and she divorced her husband a few years back. Their son is not dead in reality, but has a bad relationship with his mum. (Rumours have it that Bo Wing Kum hates famous DJ, Bak Wun Kum, as it was she who introduced Michelle Reis to her husband)

- Loletta Lee's "Michelle": this is not very obvious, but some forums have said that Michelle is actually based on Monica Chan, who admitted having a relationship with writer Joe Ni, which ended in herat break. No, Monica is not on the rumoured ladies lists of L Gwun, and certainly did not die of AIDS.

- Loletta's "BF" (sorry, forgot his name): some forums have said that his character was in fact based on Joe Ni Jun, son of the famous sci-fi author Ni Kuang. Joe has rumoured to have gone out with Michelle Reis, Monica Chan, and is currently in a steady relationship with Vivan Chow. (Some ppl say he is a real jerk)

- Kenneth + "family": said to be written from the very rich Li Ka Shing family or Chiu Sai Tseng/Chiu Sai Kwong family, with family members both known to be heavy players. (though IMO, I think it is closer to the Chiu family)

SY's chracter never really showed his playboyness but it was mentioned by his subbordinates in the beginning.
