I don't remember Huang Yaoshi ever mentioned in Ode to Gallantry, but it's been a while since I read it...

When I read the 2nd edition I dont think he or his island was mentioned. The flicking finger thing was in there and resemble HYS. It'd be interesting to find out how powerful that is compared to HYS, so to get an gauge on SPT.

Guo Jing taught all of his students Yueh Maiden Swordplay. Guo Fu, the Wu brothers and Guo Xiang all knew it (not sure about Guo Polo because nothing was written about his martial arts).
