The Twins are the result of pure marketing. Someone once said Gillian used to work in EEG as a personal assistant aka secretary.

Obviously someone in EEG saw the potential in teaming her up with Charlene, and, through heavy marketing and promotion, build them up into a hot HK pop duo.

But I love their songs too haha.

Well i heard of twins, and listen to their music.. there okeis.. yea like everyone says there cute.. i only like some of there songs.. plus i like it when they duet with a guy.. it evens out their voices alittle bit.. Also wow there like starring in alot of movies these days.. all i've been hearing is there coming out a new movie or shooting this and that movie.. yeapp..

I'm not a TWINS devoted fan, so i don't know much about them. But axt, to answer your question, No, they are not really "twins" nor are they related. They are merely two different girls that the company picked and promoted them to "stardom". I once heard from somewhere a while back, Gil and Char weren't even really "close" buds like how they appear in the mtvs, but htey were more like just acquaintances which then eventually get to know each other more as their "TWINS" thing grew more poplular.


The first time i've heard of them was from monkey king II. ehehhe i just fell in love with Charlene! IMO, i say she's cuter than Gil. and i adore her with Edison in Twins Effect.

Though i have no idea what they are singing, i still recon their songs are very hip-hop and cute. some are actually quite very good. overall, they're jsut cute.

They're certainly overrated. It seems that the overratedness can be a bad thing. IMO, they aren't as bad as you make them out to be. I'd say they're average in terms of skill. If they weren't as popular as they are, I doubt all of you would be so critical ..

It's not that I don't like them cos they're young and inexperienced, which is true, it's just that they have NO TALENT. If you compare Twins to Ashlee Simpson, who is very young and popular and cute in the U.S., they REALLY REALLY SUCK. They're in-tune but it doesn't mean they're talented. They can't vocalize to save their lives. At least Ashlee can reach some high notes and low notes better than most; Twins is just a lotta squeaking and cute singing. They enhance their voices in the studio but when they sing live you can tell they're nothing special. Yeah, cute costumes, cute hair, cute whatever, but that's about it.

Adorable? Absolutely.
Hot? I guess to some.
Sings Better than Most? Definitely.
Truly Talented? Of course not.

And they're also so stick thin...it doesn't look quite healthy being so thin. They need to gain some weight and tone. :P

Did I mention that they're overpromoted teenyboppers? I don't think any of them have acting talent either...they can't show emotion properly --; They always look amused by everything instead of angry or upset, and even if they do look something other than amused it looks very fake and forced.

the only thing that really irritate me about TWINS is their name. they're not even related, why pick a name that is so misleading. I remember when my brother show me a picture of them and said they are TWINS, I thought he was crazy cuz they don't look anything alike, then he told me it was their group name.

I haven't heard them sing so I don't know about that.

i don't know much about gillian...but charlene....i heard she is a reach *beep*......from my friend who went to the same school as her in hk....
and their songs...don't even mention it....like can you even call it songs....where are the tones....quite flat.....

haahhaha i heard one of their songs at this birthday party and this girl was superiorly obsessed with TWINS and blasted up their music and started to sing along to it until the bday girl shut it off. omg, they weren't as good.. to me, i think hilary duff (from U.S) can even sing better.
you're right maymoo, ashlee simpson is so0o0o much better. but its only my opinion lol hehe. ^_^

Sorry, I am very sorry, and hoping no1 will yell at me, or mad, or anything. I really just don't like Twins. I think their singing is ok, but their acting( no). They are like too lil kids, and stuff, don't know. Don't like them, their acting and singing just like 4 different pplz. Very Sorry to their fans.

no offense but i really dont like the twins...they act like lil kids too much, and their acting is childish too.........but i enjoy there songs, they are good at singing but i wouldn't say their acting is good but i did like the serie the monkey king the quest for the sutra
