it is super draggy as it is 40 episodes and loads of talking but the love stroy btw the 2 is very nice..

You`re right, it does kind of get draggy, but from a fan`s point of view, it was sort-of entertaining. What really would be fun to see if My Nuong became evil in a way. Than, at the part where ZWZ wants to cut his head off. My Nuong should have killed the king, then escape from the frantic guards. Held a sword by her neck and told Vincent to claim the throne or she would kill herself. Than see what he does. But it`s just me. That would have been entertaining to see !!! By the way, I`m new here !!!

hey,

i actually watched the series of empress wu astarring lyssia, even though i only watched it towards the end i still have some understanding of what happened throught out. personally i thought it was disspointing to not see alyssia turn evil.... i was waiting for that to happen but unfortunately it didn't. Even though the direvtor wanted to create the series from another perspective, it was unrealsitic how someone can still be so forgiving when her best friend killed her mother, her own child and closest friend...and not to mention the other charcters she killed and for her to become emperor surely she had to be more cunning, and clever than that.

ovrall i thought the series wasn't too bad to watch if u wanna kill some time, but there could be a few adjustments made to adapt better to the original version or history of empress wu's life

She should do that! But, it'd totally change history. Vincent seems kinda crazy in the serie. I mean everyone was just bowing down to him and calling him to take the throne and he was was lik "NO! Ur all just trying to test my loyalty." I mean it's lik wat's wrong with this dude? He's crazy! He could hav took the throne save My Nuong, save China, and set everything straight. But instead wat did he do? Kill himself.

Xu Ying Ying is played by Yang Tong Shu ( 扬童舒 ). I think she deserves the best actress award in this series.

Yea, i would say so. Very good on planning out everything just like the actress in amazing twins, were everyone thought she was a weak character. In the end she was great on planning evil plots.

Book and Sword is one series..anothr one is The Great Drunken Kung-Fu Master..which i'm currently watching right now. it's going very good i gotta say..although his relationship with kristy yeung is a tad..boring? or maybe cs i don't like him being with neone else BUT alyssa..so maybe thats js me..aha

Same here! I think that's bcause Alyssa's beauty *shines* on him. I never though he looked very good in other series anyway. I just think he looks especially good in MH and WMN.

that little kid should be the young vincent. he came out at the very beginning of the series, when baby mei niang was just born.

im not sure where exactly you are in regards to the series. from my guess, you're asking how the emperor knew that vincent was his cousin and that vincent is supposed to be the emperor? well, here's what happened.

after the emperor captured that girl (the one that likes vincent), she tells him about the eddict that the old emperor wrote. and then.... i think that's when di ren jie re-wrote multiple copies of the eddict and stuck it everywhere in the capital. the emperor got a hold of it and assumed it was true. then lots of things happened. the emperor then had to accept it was true especially after everyone wanted vincent to be emperor. i'll leave it at that.

i can't remember the exact details of what did happen... i did watch it like 2 years ago... i only pay attention to alyssa's part. so any questions in regards to mei niang i can answer in better detail.
