Ngor Mei at the end of HSDS

By the time of SOD, Ngor Mei no longer existed. So what ever happened to it.

By the end of HSDS Ngor Mei had all or part of 9 Yum Jen Ging incorporated into theire martial arts skills, which would of made them stronger.

So how can they dissappear by the time of SOD?

They still existed in SOD, the father of Lin Pingzi sent presents to the schools Qingcheng and E Mei every year. But the leader of E Mei, reverend Jinguang (Buddhist monk) would return the gifts. Also when Xiang Wentian escaped from his prison he was attacked by both people from the orthodox schools and the sun and moon sect. Amongst his attackers were 4 Taoist priests of the E Mei School, about 50 years old. Two fell of the cliff and died, one of them said a lot rubbish. Something like we as righteous heroes are determined to rid Wulin of demons like you....blablabla.....

Even in the Ode to Gallantry, the Flying Fox of Snowy Mountain, The Duke of Mount Deer, the Young Flying Fox, The Crimson Sword (The Sword stained with royal blood) the E Mei School was mentioned.
The Golden Snake Swordsman told He Hongyao that he wanted to steal a formidable sword of the E Mei School. He said that according to legend it was a magnificent blade. (Could it be the Heavenly Sword reforged)?
And in the Young Flying Fox, Yuan Ziyi and her teacher were Buddhist nuns of the E Mei School.

It is quite strange that the leader of E-Mei sect turns to be a guy. It is also quite strange that Er Mei has male disciples since the founder is definitely Guo Xiang who is a nun. Above all, it is more strange that Er Mei does not have any roles in SOD. As the third in martial art world, just inferior to Shaolin and Wu Dang, at least, the leader should present in SOD.
By the way, from HSDS 1986 adaptation, C3F gave up his position as a leader of Wu Dang and gave it to his second disciple. Among all the disciples of him, his 5th disciple is the most intelligent, but unfortunately he died long times ago. His second disciple can be quite far from C3F, especially in terms of inner power cultivation. In contrast, ZZR still alives by the end of HSDS and Er Mei has most parts of 9 Yum Jen Ging, do you think Er Mei by the end of HSDS can overcome Wu Dang in terms of martial arts? ZZR herself is rather intelligent and Mei Jue foresaw this quality of her so she asks her to be the next leader of Er Mei although she did not know that many kongfu at that time.

NO....i m sorry but zzr was not that great despite appearances..it was said that the only reason he defeated teh wulin ppl was because her style was so strange and unorthodox, everyone was baffled. plus its only her...shes not gonna teach 9 yin bai gu zhua to anyone anytime soon...mainly cos she "zhou huo ru mo" (fire deviated) and shes definitly not the best martial arts teacher...plus her version is the huang rong version...the quick version so not the best and proper 9 yin.

Wudang still had zsf with 9 yang (in parts) who was still alive, whilst emei 9 yang was lost with the death of mei jue...plus wu dang continues as a zhen pai throughout history and theres always the tai ji and tai ji jian.

zsf did not give up his position to his second disciple...he gave it to his first, song yuan qiao...zsf pretty much retired and let sqs run the clan/sect.

Emei survived til this very day, not just wiped in the time between hsds and sod. reason not mentioned was that sod focused more on the 5 sword mountain alliance (hua shan, heng shan, tai shan, hengshan, song shan) with some cameos if u will from the leading clans in the time period. that is shaolin and wudang...emei lost much of their popularity and fame, yet still existed.

emei actually undertook many changes...first it was women only, and buddhist, then it became taoist and then co-ed.

Zsf let sqs run the clan? Do u mean syq? After what he did, I don't think zsf will ever let him run the clan, at least not so soon. Even if zsf did, his father won't allowed him.

er-mei was still one of the top four schools after hsds. it kept all of it's other skills and it's inner power cultivation is still top notch even without 9yang.(derived from guo jing and haung rong's orthodox QZ, plum blossom island, hongqigong school). remember that when meijie hit wuji three times, she only used 9yang the third time, the other times she used er-mei's other inner power which was very powerful on it's own. whether zhuo zhiruo passed down any of 9yin is unknown through a little bit of it will enhance er-mei's skills even more. but without 9yin and 9yang, er-mei is still on par with shaolin and kunlun. wudang equals the three with their 9yang based skills. they can't lose anything because the essence of 9yang is already within their skills.
