The fate of Ancient Tomb

Everyone knows that Ancient Tomb sect was set up by LCY. We all know that the leadership was then passed on to XLN. Afterwards, we haven't heard of this sect again until the presentation of Yellow Girl in HSDS. This Yellow Girl can be either the grandchild of Yeung Gor or, perhaps, the leader of Ancient Tomb sect at the time. In HSDS 1986, Yellow girl presents herself with some followers, it might be able to assume that Ancient Tomb does exist at the time of HSDS as some forms of groups or sects. But, what happen to it after the end of HSDS? If it does exist, it should not be worse than, say, Er Mei at the time. If Er Mei continues to exist after HSDS, why Ancient Tomb did not exist?

The Ancient Tomb Sect might or might not have continued to exist after HSDS, but with the way they were always being so damn secretive, who the hell would've known if they did or not? It's kind of like the old philosophy question about the tree falling down in the empty forest: if a tree falls down in the middle of the forest with no one around to witness it, did it really fall?

yep...who could know?...but the followers suggest theres a following...and she actually said something like under the (quan zhen) mountain blah blah blah...condor hero and wife and stuff...so we can assume that it existed...not sure if that quote was from series only or book :P

in HSDS the girl that helped gaibang...supposedly decendant of yg and xln probably stays at the ancient tombs .....im not sure tho....hehehe maybe they prefer to stay secluded...

The location of the Ancient Tomb is *not* that secretive. The Quan Zhen disciples by the end of ROCH more or less still knew it, although they probably did not know the entrance. Besides, if that yellow-dressed girl was really YG descendent, say for example granddaugther or great granddaughter, then at least once every generation someone had to go out of the Tomb to find soul mate to marry, and continue Yang's family line.

It might be that the Yellow Girl is not the grand-daughter or great grand-daughter of Yang Guo. She might be merely a disciple of Ancient Tomb sect, like from LCY to XLN. No one has to come out to find the soul mate to get married.

They did seem to keep in contact with the Beggar Clan leaders but curiously not Ermei. However, they did seem to have some sort of Wulin Gossip Intelligence going on to keep themselves informed even if they seldom interfered.

Perhaps they built a sub Headquarters on the burnt down site of Quanzhen just to spite WCY, thus owning all of Chongnam Mountain.
