I bought the dvdbox set of Romance of the Three Kingdoms
does anyone know the names of the songs or the name of the soundtrack for Romance of the Three Kingdoms?

The main opening theme song is called "Gun Gun Chang Jiang Dong Shi Shui"(The Waters of the Yangtze River Roll East). The ending song is called " Li Shi De Tian Kong"(The Sky of History).

I've never heard the song and don't know its name, but you can try putting 太平天国 into the music search engine at baidu.com to see if the right song comes up. Good luck!
