1) was Wuji kind to animals? did he try to rescue a rabbit before getting attacked by the dogs (owned by the tricky family).

2) What does Zhao Ming mean in English? Did she have another name in a previous edition? What does that mean in English?

3) Why was Jue Yuan the only one who learned Jiu Yang Shen Gong at Shaolin? Why didn't other monks learn it? If it was a important art for Shaolin, why did they not ask him to rewrite it when it was stolen?

3) jue yuan was the only one who knew it at the time. shaolin had many martial arts so each monk can learn and specialize only on a few forms. yeah, why didn't they ask him to rewrite it? maybe they weren't very smart.

I thought they just realized that Jue Yuan had learned 9 Yang Shen Gong after the incident in Shaolin ( the one with 3 saints).
So probably they never had a chance to get him rewrite it for them, cos Jue Yuan Passed away not longer after the incidents and passed the theory of 9 Yang shen gong to 3 people (ZCB,GX + 1 shaolin monk)

But they knew he had immense inner power. It was no secret because could carry the heavy water jug.

I think the existence of the 9 Yeung Jen Ging was a secret until it was discovered by Gok Yeun (probably sometime during the ROCH years). I'm almost certain that it wasn't a native Shaolin skill. Although Jin Yong wrote in the first edition of HSDS that (Shaolin martial arts pioneer) Damo wrote both the 9 Yum Jen Ging and the 9 Yeung Jen Ging, all subsequent editions of HSDS have said that the origins of the 9 Yeung Jen Ging are unknown. The reason for this is that the 9 Yeung Jen Ging (like the 9 Yum Jen Ging) was based on Taoist concepts, not Buddhist ones. "Yin" ("Yum") and "Yang" ("Yeung") are Taoist ideas, after all, so the 9 Yeung Jen Ging would not be likely be a product of Buddhist thinking.

That is indeed a mystery. The 9 Yeung Jen Ging wasn't even written in its own distinct volume like the Yik Gun Ging and Shaolin's other martial arts manuals were. Instead, the text of the 9 Yeung Jen Ging was hidden in the margins of a book of common Buddhist sutras. Very mysterious.

It wasnt split up. Because Jue Yuan read the theory of 9 Yang Shen Gong only once, Basically Zhang Cun Bao, GX, and Shaolin monk (still cant remember his name) couldnt absorb all of the theory. How far they could absorb the theory really depend on their knowledge, intelligence, and experience, therefore it made Zhang Cun Bao probably absorbed it the least.
