    It's either SPT or SM.

DGQB is only a shadow character, his winning streak has never been proven, it could be just some myth or some loser who was overconfident and exagerrating about himself, but his sword theory is proven as the best in the JY universe, look at what happened to YG, LHC, FCY, even the old Condor

I think what matters is Jin Yong's intention. Do you think he intended DGQB to be a lousy fighter and liar?

As for SPT, although he is outstanding, I do not believe he can compare to the sweeper monk. Reason being SM can kill Murong Bo in one stance, whereas it takes SPT a while to defeat 2 Lords (although it's possible SPT could kill one in 1 stance at his peak, I think it's highly unlikely). So even if we believe 1 Lord = Murong Bo, SPT is still behind good old Sweeper.

This quickly summarizes my impression (just a guess):
    -SPT =~ 4 Lords
    -Sweeper =~ 10 MRB
    1 MRB =~ 2 Lords
    so Sweeper =~ 20 Lords
    so Sweeper > SPT

In their battle, the more aggressively 2 Lords attacked, the more aggressively SPT responded. Would be interesting to see the limit of SPT's response - can he respond to sweeper monk's force, or would he suffer MRB's fate in one stance?

No, but he also never showed what caliber of opponent Dook Goo Kau Bai went up against. If we're going to put him at or above the level of *proven* superfighters like Kiu Fung or the Janitor Monk, we're going to need something a little more substantial than "because I say so".

Well even if Dugu is a liar there is evidence that he has extremely fierce Chi although not close to sweepers if you judge it by YG's level. The condor is intelligent but it cannot makeup techniques to train Chi it can only imitate. To beat back the ocean waves takes an extremely high level of inner power.

IMO Dugu at the very least is on par with Yg.

I'll say the chance is that he was having so much of a winning streak that he decided to live in seclusion. The question is how good are the fighters that he faced throughout his life.

but that is only YG since there is no prove of how powerful DGQB.

an example is the creator of the QKDNY, although created the 7th level of QKDNY but he never master it.

I have no doubts that DGQB have mastered the Heavy Iron Sword since it did say that if DGQB came back alive he couldn't taught anything else to YG. But there is a doubt to no sword stage that DGQB said.

also in theory of martial art sweeper monk should be greater than DGQB or at least the no sword stage that was stated by DGQB. lavaithan in past have describe the sweeper monk stage to be the nothingless which think I can be describe as the wuji(being an empty vast void). while the DGQB reached the no sword but in his heart there is still sword, and his technique can still be consider the sword arts. While sweeper monk could be said nothing because it isn't palm technique, sword technique, fist technique, etc.

Not even. Yeung Gor almost lost to the Golden Wheel Monk at Chung Yeung Temple and *would* have lost if not for a well-placed Honeybee Needle by Little Dragon Girl.

Yes, but that's because they eventually ended up in an internal power-match... When it comes to fighting skills/technique Yang Guo was indeed superior to Golden Wheel Monk (16 years later, Yang Guo thought to himself: "In the past this monk was already not my match"), but in the field of internal energy Golden Wheel Monk was still stronger.

Lavi, I think Ken only wanted to point out that YG was not undefeatable.

    Default hmm..

so u all are saying SM or SPT because of their technic or internal strength?u all are saying that DGQB never proved it because he never mention how good is his internal power?or the technic that passed to yang guo by the old condor?

i think he has a good sword technic,u see the old condor don't really know DGQB's sword technic and still can teach the sword technic to Yang Guo,so i think his skill might be undefeatable!

That's because the theory of the Heavy Sword was quite simple. The Condor just fed YG some snake gal bladder to help him recover and increase his energy, push him under torrents, and just spar with YG. There are no techniques or anything, just the theory of trying to overpower your opponent.
