Hah! I think I'm worse off than any Wuxia hero can be.Imagine being an enemy with a beauty with a VERY high nose who is after your head if you try to be friends again with her.

None of the Wuxia heroes had to face that .

You've just described my life. I go through that everyday

This one time, at a bar, this chick started busting out some 'jade maiden swordplay' and I was like "I'll go with that". So I started busting out some 'Vacant fists' mixed with a bit of '9 ying', then some 'Sad palms' and finished with a little something called 'Dragon subduing palms'. Needless to say, she was all over me happens everyday..

All that's needed to say have been said, why say anything more? The man is drunk, why stay any longer?....

Wai Siu Bo and Ah Or?Yeung Gor and Gwok Fu?
I can't really relate to WSB at all since Ah Or's relations with him was bad from the start.

As for Yeung Gwor,he didn't feel attracted to Gwok Fu despite her beauty. But what would he had done siu long lui had turned on him, never to like him again? What if Ying Ying decided to turn on LHC?That's more like what I am now.

he just said a girl who is kinda beautifull that hates his guts, but he wants to befriend her.
So it counts for WSB and YG.

Yeung Gor wanted to be friends with GF, but how it turned out...

If you replace "practice kung fu" with "go to work/school", you pretty much get our modern day lives.

A life without purpose is duller. Besides, no wuxia hero's life is that boring. They find recreation in little ways. And there are wuxia politics. Unless, we're talking about a rogue swordsman with no sworn alligence to any sect then life pretty much revolve around trying to survive.

I think we are far from being a 'free' country. Privileged would probably be a better word. Though I like having internet and things like that, escaping to the Wuxia life style would be kind of cool. We are all so caught up in the world wide web and the endless foundings in technology that we don't know how to relax and just simply 'live'. At least that's how I see things.

Don't complain, gas price in US is lower than here in Canada.

China is still there and is much bigger and better than China back then during the Northern Song Dynasty. You have the CCP now . At the very least, the current China is powerful. The Mongol/Manchu/et are no longer a threat.

Well, modern life is not perfect but it's as good as it gets. The vast majority people these days would not survive in ancient time.
