The Condor definitely was strong.

I doubt it can beat a great, since he only has very basic moves, but it can definitely give them a run for the money, as ZBT said.

In terms of a battle, I'd rather have the Condor than one of the greats, to be honest, considering how easily it can simply blow away people and arrows.

IIRC, there was a bit in the novel which said Jinlun Fawang would have been scared of it was the divine condor when he was fighting with Zhou Botong and friends when Guo Jing's condors arrived, so would that put it near the level of an ROCH great??

Fa Wang has never seen the divine condor before. That quote is in the second edition but it was a comment made by Jin Yong, not a thought made by Fa Wang. Jin Yong was saying that though the pair of white eagles were large, there were in the end, just normal birds so what could they do to Fa Wang?

The divine condor however was a different breed altogether, more akin to a beast than a bird. If you saw some freaky giant bird/beast thingy coming at you wouldn't you worry a little?

In ROCH 1st edition Jinlun (and NMX) once met with YG and bro condor this scene occur when YG 1st visit DGQB cave and after NMX amputated his legs due to LMC poison..
