I like FBB with HHB too.

The last I'd heard of FBB was her filming "Mei Li Xin Tian Di" with Julian Cheung, Kristy Yang, and Patrick Tang, but that was back in July. Filming is definitely done now and is in the editing process. I'm looking forward to that series ('cause of Julian of course ) as well as "Da Tang Fu Rong Yuan" in which FBB plays Yang Gui Fei and Zhao Wen Xuan plays Tang Ming Wang. That was filmed before MLXTD. Maybe she's taking a break now.

nope! she isn't taking a break right now. aside from her numerous commercials, fashion spreads and modeling stints(she recently did a commercial for panasonic in japan, and olay too), she is currently busy preparing for her upcoming movie,
The Strategy of Mo Zi, with Andy Lau, Mainland's Wang Zhi Wen, TW's Wu Qi Long (Nicky) and Korea's Ahn Sung Ki and a japanese actor that i don't know.
The story focus on Ge Li, a student of Mozi, who helps Liang State in defending itself. War, death and sacrifice are the theme of the film, enriched with a virtually powerfully battle scenes. Andy Lau is to play Ge Li, and Fan Bingbing plays Yi Yue, a female warrior of the Liang State, the roles for Wang Zhi Wen, Nicky Wu and Ahn Sung Ki are still unknown.

from what i heard, this has a budget of 1500 M RMB! yikes!
they will shoot the scenes in Inner Mongolia and He Bei and Chang Chun.

i think they wanted this film to compete in filmfestivals once its finished.

it will take 6 months to shoot.

In order to build up for the character, Fan Bingbing had declined offers to play the great ancient beauties Xi Shi and Wang Zhao Jun.
hmmm. i guess she wants to move on to movies now, since she already did a lot of tv series in the past.

i think its a right move, as you can't become known while only doing tv series, movies are the way to go.


i heard she is also doing a movie with Len Lai, entitled Xin Zhong You Gui, where she plays the ghost char.

the movie with michael keaton is on hold i think, coz they are still waiting for the chinese govt' to give their approval for the film, thats what i heard.

DTFRY is a new series that hasn't been released yet, but hopefully it will be soon since it finished filming about 7 months ago. The series with Julian will be released sometime next year.
