Did you know Fan Bing Bing is in Hollywood now? She's filming a movie called Fu Fa, or Reoccurence. It's about the guy who plays Batman going back to the past and meeting her and falling in love. FBB is speaking English, so she has a personal tutor and learns English 2 hours a day. Ooh, and shes sings really well too.

Actually Bingbing is still in China right now, I'd read so many reports in recent days saying that she's coming to the US to work with Michael Keaton on a sci-fi movie this year, but I'm waiting for confirmation from Bingbing herself regarding when she will be working on this Hollywood flick. She's coming to talk to her fans on 17th on her official website, I'm sure her fans will be asking her about this matter. One thing I'm positively sure is that Bingbing will be performed at "Same Song" (tong yi shou ge) at New York's Broadway Radio City on 01/23 and after that she will head to Japan for a Panasonic commercial! Chen Kaige dropped the bomb first, and declared that his ad will be lead by Fan Bingbing, and pushing the number of male applicants for his ad higher, the number of male applicants for his ad had surpassed the other two directors in 1,000-plus.

Because Chen Kaige is only searching for male contenders for his ad; therefore, the female lead for his ad is set on hiring a celebrity. For the choice of his female lead, Chen Kaige is following his casting regimen: qi zhi (essence/substance) outweighs appearance. Bingbing played "The Butterfly Lovers" (Liang Zhu) by flute in her mini concert in Hefei City in Dec. of last year. Fans on the official website have been eager to see her performance again, Bingbing replied that she has the clip in a video camera, and will upload it to the web when she has the time.

About filming commercials in Japan

Bingbing replied that her company didn't force her to take this series, she accepted it herself. She said she wanted a challenge, and the decision was made after a long consideration. i didn't upload those gif creations to the forum, i simply link them from where they originally come from. This website doesn't allow you to upload big files, so i always link pics from else where.
