I don't think it's faux, most of actress they spend expensive on the clothes they're wearing cause they don't want people laughing at them wearing those faux and chip stuff. For myself I'm embarassing to using those faux Gucci purse or watch too, I'm afraid people will recognized if it is faux. I told my BF and my friends if they give me stuff please it have to be real if not I'm not gonna take it....hehe ~~ of course the friends I'm talking about is my very very close friends .

Haha, really? A fake Gucci watch is one thing, but I don't think faux fur is a sign of stinginess at all. In fact, I personally lose respect for individuals who wear real fur. At least with faux fur, animals get to keep their hides and it keeps you off of PETA's hate list. It was all the rage in Hollywood awhile back and those stars are all about fashion and image.

The "rage" against fur clothing & accessories are still very much alive in tinsel town. I find PETA's hate list very effective. Many actresses had received negative backlash from fans after landing on PETA’s worst dressed list. It just goes to show that fashion only enhances your image when it’s done in good taste.

PS:PETA is stupid. I think they're just cranky because they want taste a cheeseburger and can't have one. If they'd just eat one, they'd feel a whole lot better and be a whole lot less cranky, also they should not blame on those people who's wearing fur they working hard to get themself a nice warm coat not like they killing animal to have it.PETA is full of stuck up hypocrites who shouldn’t get involved in the way people live. ...blah blah blah

I do agree that PETA is too extreme in their ways, but fur coats are neither necessary for warmth in today's society nor flattering in many cases. Take a look at FBB in the pic below, for instance.

She's a beautiful woman, but that mound of fur certainly doesn't do much for her figure. If the appearance of fur is a must-have, I still think faux is a viable option for conferring the same "look" and warmth. Most people wouldn't be able to tell the difference between well-made expensive faux fur and real fur.

It is my personal decision not to wear nor use any leather products at all.

I think it's faux too, I don't think that most of the coat is 100% animal fur. They didnt' have that much real fur to make coat. Probably at least 10 % is real

If not for PETA's extreme harassment do you think fashion houses would think twice before launching fur lines?

Did you get a kick watching seal pups get clubbed on the head so "beautiful" people get to wear their fur? Did you know their parents are shot dead first so the hunters can get at their pups?
Did you watch your pork chop pig get slaughtered so you can have your pork chop?
How about your nice bloody steak? Did you have a hand cutting the throat of the cow and letting it bleed to death? Nice steak right?
Did you enjoy hearing the cries of the pig and cow as they were dragged to their death?
