For those of you have not seen this interview, watch it especially Shu Chang fans....it will make you understand the struggles she had to go through to get this far...even though she might not be one of the best actresses she will definitely be one of the ones (including Timi Zhuo Yi Ting) who had to endure many hurdles in their life to remain in the entertainment field.

The entire interview basically goes over her childhood of how her parents were separated when she was barely one. And how she had to endure hours of being alone when she was little because her mom had to work. Then she had to endure the death of mother but finally found a family through her uncle. It was near her birthday so you also see how getting presents from her family and having emotional talk with them. The other parts talk about relationship with her father, in which was unwilling to accept now because she was wondering why didn't he come before but now when she obtain a little pain. It goes on to talk to about the letters that she wrote but was unable to send her father to apologize for her behavior. She started to tear up at some points, the whole interview was very emotional and it showed like I said before the struggles she had to endure and psychological trauma of her parent's divorce and her mother's death.

Her aunt saw that she really liked singing and telling stories so she signed SC up for contest. And coincidentally, a director was there, forgot his name, and he selected her out of thousands of contestants for a part in a movie and that is where it all began.

Does anyone know whether she's in ZJZ's version or the other one people call the Jiangnan version? I'm confused since some kept saying the Jiangnan version is also ZJZ's version. But ZJZ's version hasn't been out yet.

She looks so beautiful here! Shu Chang's face is looking a bit chubbier in her pics, maybe this is a result of maturity? haha..but she's still slim and surprisingly "meaty" at the same time...i mean, slim but pleasantly round and feminine/soft.

Thought I'd revive Shu Chang's thread a bit with some new updates! Sadly she hasn't been as active recently as some of the other actresses, but since I absolutely adore her hopefully she'll be participating in more projects in the future!

Journey to the West: currently airing:

"Liu San Jie": seems to have just finished filming? Not sure when it'll be out. (As an aside, her costar actor is Liu Guan Xiang, who I adored as Li Ling in Da Han Tian Zi (I liked him even better than HXM there, even though he's not the hottest actor), but I also haven't seen him in years, so it's pretty neat!) Honestly this series does not seem that exciting to me, but I might check it out just for the two leads. ^_^

Gong 2 press conference: just starting filming (Not sure why she's the only girl with modern hair instead of Qing hairstyle, but I actually think she looks prettier in modern wear, so I'm not complaining! Her previous Qing styling--in DOMD--was atrocious so I hope gets better styling in Gong 2. I thought she looked very pretty in the pics for her other Qing series--"Xiao Zhuang Mi Shi", so hopefully it's closer to that than DOMD.)
