The fact that she's in Journey to the West makes me want to watch that drama. I know both FSF and Ady are also in it, but somehow I'm still not drawn to that drama if it weren't for Shu Chang. I just love her acting. Like mango_cake, i definitely think her acting ability surpasses YM. She is convincing from the demure Lady DongWan in Xiao Zhuang Mi Shi to the wickedly mischievous Tian Shan Tong Lao.

I think I am equally excited to see FSF, SC, and Ady in JTTW (well ok I fangirl for FSF/SC a bit more than Ady). In fact theirs are the only parts of JTTW I want to see...for some reason I just never got into that story as a kid.

Er Lang Shen (Yang Jian)! Who just so happens to be one of my absolute favourite characters in chinese mythology. Though I mostly attribute this to Vincent Jiao's wonderful portrayal in Bao Lian Deng...speaking of which I STILL have not finished that series even though it has several actors I like--Shu Chang of course, plus Liu GuanXiang (also the aforementioned SC's costar in the upcoming Liu San Jie), and Vincent Jiao.

Another pic of SC in JTTW (the costumes do look very beautiful!), with Nie Yuan (strangely, I find myself disliking Nie Yuan, but I don't even remember why, lol...I feel like I must've seen him in something that caused me to have a bad impression of him but when I quickly looked up some of his series I don't actually remember seeing any of them! )

I wonder what ZJZ's next project is going to be--he focused so much on JTTW for the past few years, I wonder if he has any future plans after it! Since he's worked with all of them in the past, wouldn't it be nice if ZJZ used SC, Ady, YM, and FSF all together in one of his next projects?? I'd be in heaven!! (I guess you can say the same about YZ though...hmmm maybe he can cast all of them in his upcoming XAJH?? And throw in YH for good measure, too. XD) Ok ok maybe I shouldn't get too greedy here...

Also as much as I'm dreading/being apprehensive about Gong 2, I do hope it's a decent series and becomes popular so SC gets more exposure. ^_^

eh, i've never liked nie yuan. i think its just the way he looks, cause i've never really seen anything with him in it either! lol.
oh, except flying fox of the snowy mountain, the version by wang jing (i think?) with ady an in it. wasnt very good, might i add.

I really love her styling here a lot, actually! ^_^ She looks so much lovelier in Qing wear than I expected (must be those horrible DOMD pics ruining my impression of her in Qing style).

(Damnit Yu Zheng...I bet he knows he would lose a lot of viewers if FengMi are just doing cameos, so now he decides to get a huge cast of actors/actresses that a lot of people adore so we will tune in anyways. >_< I mean, Gong really only had 2 main male leads and 2 main female leads, while in Gong 2 I feel like there are at least like 5 main actresses and 3 main actors!!! O_o Sadly his tactic is working because I will probably end up checking this out for the cast. Again. Good thing I'm not in China and won't have any effect on the ratings because I'd be so mad if I were contributing to inflating YZ's ego even more.)

I'm really impressed with all of SC's looks in Gong 2! I thought Gong made all the actresses look worse than their potential (YM and TLY are both gorgeous gorgeous girls but in Gong they just looked pretty, not really "beautiful") however I guess they improved their makeup/styling people because Shu Chang looks fantastic! One of her best!

Shu Chang is another Yu Zheng drama. Yu Zheng should be stick with being a producer. He has beautiful costumes and great casting. Just needs to work on the script.

SC is getting prettier and prettier! ^_^ (On the other hand...is that just a bad pic of Zhang Jiani cause she doesn't look as pretty as I remember her being when she first came onto the scene when she was cast in Qiong Yao's "Dream Behind the Curtain" or whatever that series was called...)

I think someone mentioned it in the JTTW thread--it was awhile ago so you might have to do some digging...I was going to just watch SC/Ady (+FSF) too since the story bores me overall.
