thanks for the pics Godslayer.... its so hard to find pics of Shu Chang... i mean, there are millions of LYF and stuff, but there aren't very many on the internet of Shu Chang... grossly underated

No prob. I was really impressed with her acting in Bao Lian Deng and thought she was like 20 something and when I checked that she was only 18 and was blownout by how less of attention she is getting even though she is the same age as LYF and probably has better acting skills than ther.

probably has better acting skills than LYF? i would say... DEFINITELY... but aside from that, LYF is prettier than Shu Chang, but i think Shu Chang has a very pretty look as well, which is why its so disappointing that she's not being given very good roles...

i think that if you ever threw LYF and Shu Chang into the same series, LYF would have the vase duty of being beautiful and fawned at, while Shu Chang would have the personality, but would be made to look ugly.... and in the end the guy would choose LYF

Her biggest role is in Bao Lian Deng but the problem with that is that only a few people has seen the series to evaluate her acting and beauty.

i saw her in Lian Cheng Jue, where she was the second main actress.... but that wasn't a very popular series in china... and she didn't get a lot of publicity out of it

the only series that people seem to know of is DGSD, but she was TSTL, and although she did a fantastic job, she had about 3 eps screentime, and wore hideous makeup... she stole the show though ^-^ for three eps out of 40

Hello some underated support needed here. Gosh people these days only know about actresses like LYF, Fan Bing Bing and all of those actresses who are getting major roles.

Well, I guess it is still for me to choose and you to decide.

Well, I am not the only one that thought that she would be a good GUo Xiang. I still think that she would not be a bad choice for Guo Xiang, but anyway since Yang Mi already played the role there is no point in saying whether she would have been a good one or not. Thanks for the lovely pix of her. I showed one of my friends and they said that she is even more beautiful and cute than LYF is.

That is why sometimes I don't get the entertainment industry they sometimes leave out the legitimae candiate for a role. I am not saying the Yang Mi was not a good Guo Xiang I saying the entire industry overall. Sometimes they just old actresses for the roles over and over again but leave out actresses like Shu Chang. My theory is not that LYF or Yang Mi don't deserve their fame and popularity but that people forget other good actresses who don't have mafor roles like them.

Yea, I agree with you... I think part of being successful in this circle is luck too. There are pretty and talented actresses out there like Shu Chang and many others. However, they are not given the opportunities like LYF, Yang Mi or others... Shu Chang only played a minor role in TLBB and people immediately recognized her talent.. I just hope that she will eventually get better roles and get the fame that she deserves.

Shu Chang looks very cute and pretty. I think Shu CHang is definitely underrated. Almost everyone i know who watched TLBB thought she was very good, and LYF was terrible. But even though Shu Chang was a lot better, LYF got all the good roles.

I don't know about Shu Chang as GX. I thought YM did a very good job. Plus, GX isn't as big a role as i want Shu Chang to be in anyway... i'm thinking that throwing her into HSDS would be a much better option... but somehow, i get this feeling that Shu Chang is going to have to work a long way to get there, with the lack of support for her

i agree...she's a good actress. However, she just doesn't have the leading role look. That's the only problem. She's not ugly...not at all...but it's just that she doesn't have the leading role looks. If she was to star in the next HSDS, she will not get the role of ZM or ZZR. No matter how people dislike or envy YM/LYF, you put them in a series, they'll make more money for you than the other actresses. That's the reason why producers/directors chose them.
