no, it's the SAME series, just that the series has more than one name. All the actors and characters are the same. What is confusing is this series is not about Merchants, but sci-fi?

To further complicate things, the series has a second part with different actors.

I actually think Shu Chang looks nice in this series, maybe not because of the costuming, but because of the character she appears to be playing. She looks very cute and lively

The set of pics of the guy with the funky coloured haircut was way way out of the ballpark for a wuxia pian. He looked like a time traveller.
This poster looked like City of the Golden Armour/Myth with very outlandish armour more suitable for fantasy than wuxia. Reminds me of Nic's monkey doing battle in outer space against armoured aliens.

Hmm, i think this is indeed fantasy, not so much of Wuxia. The costumes are exaggerated so the personna can be well-expressed and also easier to capture on film.

Anyway, I made a mistake: Shang refers to the Shang Dynasty, not merchants, therefore the show means Legend of Yin and Shang Dynasty.

Actually I wonder why since more people visit LYF's thread and most of them love LYF to the core.

I just rate it a 5 feeling it deserved nothing less than that (since Miss Chang is always perfect in my heart). Talk about obsession, domination and perfection.
