In Bao Lian Deng I think Chen Shang is too ugly for Shu Chang they just didn't look good together. I though that Shu Chang shone the screen with her character alone. You can see that she is good actress throughout the series, first she started as innocent and naive then she turned all serious in the end you can see that she is very verastile as an actress.

Shu Chang is a very versatile actress. You can tell by the fact that she can pull off gentle roles because she has a nice gentle look, but she can also pull of roles like Tian Shan Tong Lao that most 'pretty' actresses can't do

i think shu chang has quite an interesting look. At first i found her pretty, but nowhere near the LYF league, but now i think she's actually very beautiful.... as beautiful as LYF

Unlike LYF, i think Shu Chang has actually earned her way up without having those 'goddess' looks. In terms of acting, Shu Chang and LYF are in completely different classes

to most director and producers...whoever makes the most money for their production will get cast...and LYF will make more money for them than Shu Chang...talent or no talent...like i said before...sex sells!

i.e Britney Spears, i don't think she was pretty.. but she was pretty talentless.. but had 'sex appeal'( i myself think not) btu anyways.. she is nothing abut a joke now in the media. Same thing foes for Jessica Simpson.. she is getting there

It depends how you carry yourself. Most of the actors that are considered top notch are good looking...very very few are famous on talent alone.

Britney Spears had to be the perfect example. She had all the good looks and sex on her but she was talent-less and with all the scandal she is a total mess.

And Crazy in some peoples eyes talent goes over beauty while it is opposite for others. LFY is always going to the NUmber for beauty and admit that she really captures the attention of her auidences. Hey that is what happen when I watched the CHinese Paladin but was the same with Shu Chang too when I watched in Bao Lian Deng. Both are unique and glamourous in their own ways. Sometimes you can't really compare this too because one is getting all the spotlight while the other is just getting a glimpse of it.

Another example is Paris Hiltn but all she has is money she is not even pretty but gets some attention because of her wealth and look at the sex tape she filmed that is another mess.
