Paradise [Shui Yue Dong Tian]

Hello everyone,
I current upto the part where Monica and Dong Bac are about to get marry and the story seems to drag alittle not sure if that's whether anyone agrees with me. I don't understand the reason why the bad guy want them to get marry.
What I find weird is how he could treat Ada like that (the scene where she cried in the rain...man so emotional..)
I don't know.. I beginning to ..how to i put it..get less interested in the story...
What does everyone think? does the storyline get better as for me personally the story is going downhill...

ThuyNguyet, that is the same part I am at. Well the reason why the 2nd uncle is forcing Monica and Yu Bo to marry is because he thinks that Yu Bo is the successor to Watery Moon Hollow Sky and wants to get in there for some reason.

Its quite sad watching Ada and Yang Jun Yi go through all this. Also Monica and Yu Bo too though. But if Monica nad Yu Bo are going to go through with it, then they have to go through with it all the way. Nothing really weired for me about Yu Bo's actions to Ada.

I've read some summeries by ChrisFannatics at tvseriesfans and to me it seems that everything will get even better. For me, I find this serie to be getting better and better. It does drag here and there, but overall very good!!

AngelC3P, agree. Ada looks way too skinny in here!!! She does need to gain a bit more weight, it won't hurt her!! Monica looks fine, very very pretty. Anyways I'm not quite sure if they are older then the male co-stars, but they do look young in here, hehe. Very compatiable with their co-star!!!

I love the 2nd brother (Yang Jun Yi). Espically his relationship with Monica!!! In the sequel, their relatiosnhip seems to get even better!!! But more tragic

Its so touching ...and I really enjoy the relationship between YuBo and Ada!!

I dont think this serie is a drag at all.

Lol, I'm getting all excited when more members come in here!!! I'm really enjoying this serial so really in the mood to chit chat on it.

I'm more into the relationship of Yang Jun Yi and Monica Chan. However got to say that Yu Bo and Ada's relationship is more touching so far. They have more scenes since they are more of hte focus, but I'm fine with it since their story is quite touching and intersting. Just want more between Yang Jun Yi and Monica though!!! hehe.

What are some of your fav. scenes so far? One for me would be the one between Ada and Yang Jun Yi, where they thought they had done something wrong was amusing. Well when we see a flashback of what really happened. Lol....

Hi guys, I've watched this series a while ago and thought the ending was a bit rush, but what sequel are you guys are talking about. I as far as I know I finished the whole series and that was the end and there was no more sequel! That picture of Ada looking all dolled up is actually in this series not a sequel!

Yeah, I've been wondering about that too... Do I really have to watch part 2 if I want to watch this series? Or is there a conclusion to part 1?

K-linh, there's only 32 episodes in this series (about 11 tapes). I don't think there are two part to this series. Maybe there's just different package for this series in different country but they all the same number of episodes. I now that some series in vcd format are split into two part because of packaging reason. So maybe that why some people mentioned part 1 and part 2.

as much as i really really like the series....there are some things that just really bug me.....i mean how many times do u guys notice that a girl falls ontop of a guy.....another thing is about monica's character.....i really enjoy her acting out all the females in this series but here's the thing.....suddenly she's all sick and shivering....like she's gonna die then she see's the second brother and she's all fine.....like this happens a couple of times...i guess they should have know this might be a cure then....heheh

Fallen Angel, check out the first page. I think it was the very last post. Anyways I posted a few things on the sequel. Its sorta a continuation of the first part, but also has a new story and all. I've been told that it is going to come out in chinese anytime now So that means viet version is coming too!!!!

I'm not exactly positivly sure yet K-Linh, but here is what I've been told. There is a conclusion to Paradise 1. Sort of. At least for the storyline, but as for the pairing, some of it is still open. At least Yang Jun Yi and Monica's from what I know.

Part 2 will just continue on with another storyline which does have to do a bit with the first one. I think its best to watch the sequel. Been told the sequel is a bit shorter then the first one. Or the same, can't remember exactly.

Yup, that girl is Ada's older sister and she does fall in love with Yu Bo. Argh...some of the things she does just because he doesn't love her Ah yes, just in case your wondering, the actress who plays the older sister is Yang Guang.

why did she slap ada?

Reason she slapped Ada was because Ada said she is really useless. The two were having a "conversation" about Yu Bo going to marry Monica. They are really mad and begin argueing. Yang Guang blames Ada for something and Ada strikes back that she had already given Yu Bo to Yang Guang and it isn't her fault that Yang Guang lost him. She then said that Yang Guang is quite useless and there goes the slap. I think thats about right

As for the sequel...its been told that the chinese version has been released in chinese this month. As for the viet version, it hasn't been confirmed yet. Just gotta wait Soon though, lets hope

i really, really don't like this series. watch up to 9 and still don't get what the heck is going on. what the heck is going on with the snake guy (the one with all those wounds on his chest)? is he evil or good i don't get it.

i do like ada and the main guy but the other girl that's sick, she has these mixed expressions on her face that i can't tell is good or bad. she should play the bad girl or something b/c it's annoying me.

to me this series is just bad.

You get to see how feminine she looks in Part 2. She looks so pretty like in what was that series "Where the Legend Begeins"? I think that was the title. Long hair, very feminine costumes like that of the Singaporean series "White and Green Snake" starring Fang Wong. Too bad the website only a couple of her pix in Part2, but she looks great. Good news, Tong Bo's curly hair is gone in Part 2.

The ending to part one has Yu Bo successfully getting rid of Yin Zhong (Norman; Monica's uncle.) He becomes unconcious and finally awakens after awhile. Everyone rushes in to see him, but he doesn't spot Monica so he asks for her. He then is told that Monica has dissappeared and is no where to be seen. In fact, Monica and her father was pushed by Yang Guong into this volcano pit. Yu Bo then decides to go search for Monica, but Ada follows and they chit chat, hehe. Yu Bo promised that he would return soon to marry Ada. In the end we see Yu Bo floating up into the trees and it ends there.

Yeah, Monica loves Yang Jun Yi, the second brother. Monica and Yu Bo are quite good friends. They experience similiar problems and go through the same "fate" in a ways. Lets just say they understand the other one well.

This character is Yin Zhong, played by Norman Xiu. Anyways he is evil. I think it was like 500 years ago he and a group of soldiers went to Watery Moon Hallow Sky to try and destroy the place or something, but is unsuccessful due to General Long who promised to protect the clan. In the end Yin Zhong was severly injured by the magic mirror, that is where all those wounds on his chest came from. From then on he is somehow able to live all this time and is still in search for the clan so that he could become immortal. Lol, I don't quite get it all myself either though. Just know he is evil and wants to go find Watery Moon Hallow Sky so that his injury can be cured....

I think that girl your talking about is Monica. Anyways she is sick. After learning this martial arts skill thing, she sorta has split personalities. Sometimes she just can't control herself and goes into a rage. I like her character though. hehe, she really does well as the bad character, but I like her playing the good one too
